My Life in the Monsterverse (Dropped/Moved to New Book)

David Griffin is a man who just turned 22. He loves his family, but he is pressured by them all the time to do his best. He knows that they care for him, but when he tries to talk to them about how he feels about things, anything, he usually is told to just push through it, to man up, or something similar. He feels trapped because he wants to accomplish something that will make them proud, but whenever he tries to he ends up failing at it. Everyone around him says he's trying too hard, and is only hurting himself, but he just keeps pushing himself. He's also the oldest of siblings, so he has to be the example for them, so even when he's hurting he just puts on a smile and just pushes on. Well, problems start to happen with his mind, and he isn't able to cope with it and he starts breaking down, and he doesn't want his family to see him in that way, so he starts to drift away. Finally, one evening, he goes over to his family's home since his sister is bringing over a boyfriend. During the time there, the boyfriend starts joking around with the family, but for some reason, starts nitpicking at David about how even though his sister is younger than him, she has had more success than him. Well, this was the straw that broke the camels back. David blows up at his sisters boyfriend, and in the process ends up splitting them up. He feels bad already since he knows how much she loved him, and with everything swirling around his head at lightspeed of not being good enough, these next words from his family ends up driving a stake through his heart. "I'm embarrassed and tired of being related to you, I can't believe what you just did to me," his sister says, and the rest of his family is in agreement. Not being able to handle anymore, just gets up and leaves with tears not coming out because he's holding it in, and not being able to say anything with the feeling of shards of glass in his throat, drives off and tries to get home. On the way there, he finally can't hold it in anymore and starts crying on the way home. Unfortunately, with tears making it hard to see while driving, doesn't see that there was a car off to the side of him, the driver drunk. It's too late to swerve, and the drunk hits him head on in a T-bone. David died instantly, not able to process he died, and in hysterics from earlier that night, doesn't notice God sitting in front of him, with a sad look on His face. God walks over to him, hugs him and just lets David cry it out. After hours of crying, David finally is able to take in what is happening to him and looks around.

Rebirth of the Ember

Geldal was a mere captain of the Avior Kingdom, or at least he used to be. After encountering an opportunity after almost dying in a war against the army of undead, he rose through the ranks and managed to become a member of the hero party. They fought, slept, wandered, and laughed together for 20 years in a land filled with the stench of rotten corpses. They managed to survive due to all of their strengths, but especially the revered hero, Arkhan. Arkhan was what you call the perfect hero. He was very, very strong even when compared to Geldal. Arkhan the Hero, Farlan the Sage, Ruth the Holy, and Geldal the Fiery, all supported each other and managed to reach the Death Incarnation. However, when Edmund and Farlan were injured, they all were ambushed by the rotten corpses of the Death Incarnation. Knowing that if anyone other than him dies, it will be impossible to kill the Death Incarnation, Geldal burned his body away to fight off the army of corpses. All he remembered of his fellow travelers were the shocked face of Arkhan, the frustrated look of Farlan, and the sobbing face of Ruth. He thought that his body was already burned to nothingness and his soul was already gone because of the fire he surged out in his final moments. However, fate plays an unexpected move on him. He wakes up from what felt like a very, very long slumber as a baby in a cave. "Have they killed the Death Incarnation?" was the first thought that comes to his mind. "No, more important than that, are they still alive?"," Or am I going to die again? But this time in vain?". Geldal was then picked up by a woman with leather armor on her. "What is a baby doing here?" she muttered as she picked him up and decided to take care of him. Geldal grew up and found out that the Death Incarnation has been slain, but other Incarnations have also woken up and the hero party went missing. Muren, with the memories of Geldal the Fiery, has now decided to embark on his second journey to find his fellow friends and to slay the Incarnations.

Accidentally Courted The World's Richest Man

Qin Zheng fell in love with an insanely handsome bartender and began to court him fervently. She started with publicly announcing her love for Xie Xun, causing him to be stalked by perverts for more than a month. Then, she bought out the bar for one night to confess to him, but tripped over a stool, and splashed wine onto Xie Xun. To celebrate her pursuing Xie Xun for an entire month, she spent a hefty sum on unleashing fireworks in the entire city. Alas, a firework accidentally fell onto Xie Xue, and he was almost hospitalized from being scalded. Xie Xun asked, “Are you trying to court me… or kill me?” Qin Zheng replied, “Baby, let me explain…” When Qin Zheng finally got him, her ex-fiancé mocked, “Qin Zheng, your taste plummeted quite a bit after you left me.” Her biased grandfather raged, “You have shamed the entire Qin family. Break up with that pretty boy at once!” Qin Zheng retorted, “It’s my life and I have authority over it. You have no right to tell me what to do!” She was Qin Corporation’s successor and the Qin family’s current matriarch. She was even a demon lord in the business industry, so who could tell her what to and what not to do? However… the pretty boy Xie Xun’s multiple identities were exposed, and one of them was being the world’s wealthiest and most mysterious bachelor. Qin Zheng exclaimed, “Oh no, I’ve been tricked.” She packed up her luggage overnight and got ready to leave, but Xie Xun blocked her way. The man’s gaze was dark and ominous. “Zheng Zheng, you provoked me first…” Qin Zheng backed away, feeling guilty. “Uhm… I don’t like powerful men, so we’re not compatible.” Xie Xun coaxed her, saying, “Then I’ll transfer all my assets to you, and be your personal bartender for life. How does that sound?” Qin Zheng stuttered, “O-okay…” Who could possibly say no to that?!
