Episode 0- A Monsters Birth

Oracle Cells, a highly adaptive cell with infinite branches to evolve into whatever they consume. Able to evolve into grotesque monsters best found in nightmares, however such monstrosities became real through the evolutionary ability of Oracle Cells and were given the name Aragami. The death count of humans and other life was very much a slaughter, however humans managed to fight back with the rise of 'God Eaters'.

God Eater being a title given to those compatible with the Oracle Cells giving them the ability to combat the Aragami, with a special weapon called a God Arc. However, not only humans want to see the Aragami dead. That is where 'his' story begins, an Aragami evolved into human form with a vast disdain for other Aragami. And so his path began after one mindless phrase, 'I want them all dead... I'll devour them all, I'll kill every last one...'

Year- 2071, January 21

Location- The Far East

During a freezing blizzard Aragami roamed around devouring anything in sight within what remains of a nuclear power plant, amongst the monsters an Ogretail attempted to eat one of the control modules triggering the power plants activation. The technology starting up and beginning to function as it used to generating electricity from nuclear power, however due to the Aragami destroying the area it began leaking radiation.

Below the machinery an Aragami was in the process of manifesting among a pile of human corpses, at that moment radioactive toxins spilled onto the corpses and manifesting Aragami. With that what was supposed to be a Fallen Ogretail began to mutate and change, as unknown cells began consuming most of the corpses and the Oracle Cells as it took on a human form. Upon his awakening all he could do was look at the corpses he was born on, within moments the newly born monster yelled in absolute Wrath as his yells made all the Aragami flee.

After a few moments he slowly relaxed becoming rather docile as he looked down at the dead humans feeling familiar with them, he assumed they were the same as him just because of appearance so he took the clothes off a male worker that was mostly intact trying to imitate them. Once dressed he took the word Flare from the back of his mind to identify himself and began walking around eating anything made of metal or Oracle Cells, for days Flare ate as he guarded the dead humans trying his best to bury them all while yelling at the Aragami to keep them away.

However eventually the bigger Aragami began to slowly ignore his yells but by that time Flare had already buried the dead, he got up as he saw a Vajra enter the the facility. Yelling at it as he ran after it jumping onto the back up the Vajra, the Vajra discharging massive amounts of electricity shocking him. Flare barely surviving the shock quickly jabbed his hand into the back of the Vajra's head before ripping out its crystal core, once it was ripped out Flare had fallen to the floor breathing heavily.

Flare laid there in pain not wanting to move or even speak, not like he even knew how to speak or knew what to say at that moment. But all Flare felt was- enjoyment? He enjoyed killing the thing he witnessed feasting on the humans he assumed were his kin or something, he looked at the crystalline ball that was the Vajra's core. Without hesitation he acted on instinct and bit into the core eating it, bite after bite until he had eaten the core. After Flare finished eating the core he felt like he had recovered as he got up and began to leave the facility, his only mindset was to eat and kill Aragami by any means necessary.

With that, Flare began his journey to kill the Aragami...
