The Overpowered Player of the Dungeon
In 20XX, there was a treaty among all the nations, leading to global peace. Earth's brightest researchers managed to terraform the Earth, shaping it in a way so that all the nations were joint, making a new, single, mad-made continent, dubbed Proxima.
Years of global peace led to people not needing weapons, and due to the treaty, all weapons made for war among nations were banned.
However, a few years of peace was all they had.
Giant structures named Dungeons started sprouting across Proxima, and many people started disappearing in a golden light, seemingly at random.
This happened every year, with groups of people disappearing in the light, and even less returning.
The people that returned turned out to have great power, power that surpassed that of the military from years ago. The one that returned were dubbed the Chosen by the people, heroes that suppressed the beasts of the dungeon from escaping with the magical and physical strength they gained from the dungeons.
A college student, 19 years old, Sol Grimol was part of the first group of people chosen by the dungeon. They made it past the final boss, Gulbang of the 100th floor together with their strength, and made it home.
Except for the cursed Sol.
