He killed an ancient dragon by accident. Then spent a trillion years running a secret farming operation off the corpse's domain. Then got bored and built an academy that exists nowhere and everywhere at once. Call him the Chancellor. Nobody knows his real name. The system tried to generate one once. It returned ERROR. When he finally released his fate compass to find a first student, it skipped a realm with three immortals. It passed over cultivators bred for greatness since birth, bloodlines refined across generations, candidates who were - by every metric that matters - exactly what an academy like this should want. Then it pointed at Earth. At a fifteen-year-old. Qi Gathering, Layer One. The weakest kid in his class. A boy who'd just accidentally dismembered his teacher, run from the law, and jumped off a building - not because he was chosen, but because the compass wouldn't stop pointing at him no matter how many times someone tried to redirect it. The Chancellor doesn't know why. That's the problem. Welcome to an academy suspended between worlds, where students arrive from broken kingdoms and dying dungeons, where the most dangerous being on the grounds currently wanders the halls in NPC disguise holding a banana, and where a fate compass has now moved twice - in two different directions - for a boy nobody expected. The question was never whether he deserves to be here. It's why the compass won't leave him alone. _____________________________ P.S. The boy is NOT the MC. The Chancellor is. Aria is just the reason the story started. There's a difference. (ง'̀-'́)ง (Comment so the Chancellor gets notified - he's currently hunting for a loophole in his own system and could use the distraction.) _____________________________ Tags, explained by the author: Academy Building - Legitimately built from scratch. He started with a courtyard, a tree, and an assistant who is 3% stable. Cosmic Mystery - Too much mystery, honestly. The Chancellor knows things; he just doesn't explain them. The compass knows more, and that explains nothing. You will survive. I did. Progression Fantasy - Too much progression. Even the quest system is growing, and it will not stop commenting on it. Ancient Being MC -Ancient enough that even I don't know his name. The system tried. It returned ERROR. Multiple Student POV -Only 10 in Volume 1. Dry Humor & Chaotic Comedy -Dry as the Sahara. It doesn't announce itself. It stares at you until you understand. Found Family Elements - Maybeeeee. Nobody's calling it that. The Chancellor would call it "efficient use of available personnel." Rias would agree while laughing. Suspicious behavior. Competent Characters - Too competent. Nobody here is stupid, including the ones who look chaotic. Especially the ones who look chaotic. This includes Zee. Especially Zee. No Young Master Face-Slapping Spam - We're full kings here. Actual monarchs. On thrones. With a chocolate banana plushie. No buildup. Just tap tap TAP. A Chancellor Who Probably Shouldn't Be Allowed Hobbies — He built a reality outside reality because the multiverse was wasting potential and it bothered him. That's the hobby. We're all in it now. Please respect the space. _____________________________ Genre Fantasy · System · Academy · Comedy · Cultivation · Action · Adventure _____________________________ Main Tags Academy, Multiple Worlds, Cultivation, Hidden Identity, Mystery, Weak to Strong, Male Lead, Overpowered Characters, Found Family, Unique Power System, Cosmic Horror, Comedy, Smart Characters, Fate, Adventure, Kingdom Building, Slice of Life, World Travel, Action, Overpowered MC, Slow Burn, Face Slapping, Weak to Strong, Harem

5 Stars - Yeah, I'm the Author, and No, I'm Not Sorry Okay look, I know how this looks. Author reviewing his own book, five stars, zero shame. I've made my peace with it. Someone has to say the nice things while this book is still finding its readers. And honestly? I've read this thing more times than anyone alive. I'm qualified. (ง︡'-'︠)ง The truth is this book almost didn't exist in its current form, before this it had - - Two other titles. - A full re-architecture of who the actual main character even was. - Multiple rejections before this version clicked. (╥﹏╥) There was a stretch where I genuinely wondered if "ancient cosmic entity builds a school because the multiverse was wasting potential" was too weird a pitch to work. Turns out it wasn't too weird. It was just misdescribed. Once I stopped selling you Aria's story and started telling you the truth, this is the Chancellor's story, and Aria is just the reason it started, everything lined up. (⊙.⊙(☉̃ₒ☉)⊙.⊙) ------------------- If you're here for: - A system-cultivation-academy story - Where the "MC" is actually a background piece on someone else's board - Humor that doesn't wink at you, just stares until you catch up ...you're in the right place. The Chancellor negotiates farming rights off a dragon he killed by accident, and never once explains why that's funny. You're supposed to figure it out. Then there's Zee. And Rias, who I will go to my grave insisting is criminally underrated as "first stabilized being who somehow ended up doing all the actual work." And the compass. I built that so that by the time you understand why it keeps pointing where it points, you'll want to reread the earlier chapters with new eyes. That's not an accident. I planted things early I'm still, right now, waiting for someone to notice. I won't pretend this is perfect. Early chapters are rougher, I was still finding the voice, and it shows. But chapter by chapter it gets tighter, funnier, and weirder in the ways I actually meant it to. The payoff chapters are, without false modesty, the best writing I've done. Some reveals coming later are seeded so far back you won't clock them until they land. ------------------------------------- So yeah! five stars, from the guy who: - wrote it - edited it - got told it "doesn't suit the market" - rewrote the pitch - put it back out there anyway I'm not an unbiased source. But I know exactly what's coming, and I'm telling you: stick around for the Chancellor. He's worth it. t(>.<t) Comment if you've already got a theory about the compass. I'm collecting them! -----------------------------
