chapter 3

After a lingering moment, their lips parted, a thin line of warmth still connecting them before dissolving into the air. Lith broke the silence, his voice quiet but determined. "Before I lost consciousness, there was an earthquake. Do you know what happened there?"

Celestara nodded, her expression calm as she began to explain. "Master, the world you were in is touched by the Endless Abyss."

He frowned, confusion flashing across his eyes. "The Endless Abyss?"

She inclined her head slightly, her voice growing more serious. "The Endless Abyss is a boundless, low-dimensional realm, located at the very depths of the Void. It is a place where corrupted and most sinful souls gather to reincarnate as demons, devils, and other dark creatures. Every multiverse despises the Endless Abyss, for it spreads its influence and corrupts anything it touches."

Lith's frown deepened as he considered her words. "Then… how am I supposed to leave? How do I return to my own multiverse?"

Celestara smiled, a glimmer of reassurance in her gaze. "Master, fear not. You are not in the true Endless Abyss but in a part of it that has invaded your own multiverse. You are still within your home realm. But even if you were in the real Endless Abyss, it would make no difference—you are far stronger than the will of that place."

Relief washed over Lith, and without realizing it, he tightened his hold around her. Celestara let out a small, amused smile at his touch, and he quickly composed himself. Still, he had questions. "You mentioned my soul is now a boundless void and my body an amalgamation of infinite cosmos. What does that mean for me?"

Celestara's gaze softened, her tone becoming slightly playful. "Your soul is now vast, like an endless starry sky. Your body is no longer human; it's composed of countless cosmoses, each with its own unique energy. Your very core has transformed into a likeness of the Primordial Chaos itself, allowing it to contain any law, any affinity. This makes you immune to many forces from the Void, including the corruption of the Endless Abyss."

She paused, her gaze intensifying. "But, Master, be cautious. You are powerful, yet without control, that power could turn dangerous. Avoid using your strength recklessly until you've mastered it."

Lith nodded, her warning resonating with him. Without a word, he leaned forward, pressing a light kiss to her lips, a gesture of gratitude and trust. Celestara blinked in mild surprise before returning his smile, a playful glint lighting her eyes.

"Master," she said, her tone turning almost teasing, "it's time you prepare. You need to learn new skills, hone your control over the laws, and grow stronger. Let's get you ready."

Lith nodded, determination hardening his gaze. His path was clear. Once he reached the Star Academy, he would focus on his training and embrace his new reality.

Celestara rose, holding out a hand as she continued with a mischievous tone. "Now, let's get you suited up. Your armor and weapons await, and the academy will be expecting you. Shall we?"
