Chapter 43: Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish! Jounouchi’s Magic Cylinder!

"Tch, how tedious," Gilgamesh muttered, annoyed.

Weapons poured out from his Gate of Babylon, slaughtering the familiars that swarmed the area. Gilgamesh wasn't concerned about the so-called "Reality Marble." It might have been troublesome for Saber and the others, but to him, it was a mere nuisance, something he could break at any time.

Bang!!

With a swing of his massive sword, he obliterated an entire wave of familiars in one swift motion. Compared to the struggling trio, Berserker and Archer were still in fighting shape, showing little signs of exhaustion.

"Hmm?" Gilgamesh glanced at Berserker, who had switched weapons again, this time summoning a long spear, his magical energy surging. Gilgamesh laughed as he always did.

"You're still pushing forward despite that girl dragging you down? You should be more careful. Using such high-level abilities will only drain the little magic she can supply," he said smugly, referring to Berserker's Master, Sakura. Unlike Gilgamesh, who had Tohsaka Tokiomi's support and access to the city's mana veins, Berserker had no such luxury. Sakura's magic circuits couldn't sustain him for long, especially after such a prolonged battle and the deadly attack they both endured earlier.

"You know that if you unleash your power recklessly, you'll burn through your Master's mana reserves," Gilgamesh taunted. "Though I suspect you already knew that."

Berserker remained silent but didn't deny it. Gilgamesh's words weren't entirely wrong. Using powerful attacks would put Sakura's life at risk.

"But enough about that. I'll be kind for once and show you something worth your time," Gilgamesh said, flashing a cocky smile.

He pulled out a strange key from his treasury, the likes of which emanated a sense of foreboding power. Feeling the overwhelming pressure, the **Witch of Battle** turned her attention to him and thrust her massive lance toward the golden king.

Bang!!

But Berserker was quicker, intercepting the blow with a mighty swing of his giant axe, knocking the lance away.

"What is he doing now?!" Jounouchi muttered nervously. The familiars around him weren't attacking, but he still couldn't shake the sense of unease.

As he looked up, he noticed a crimson glow slowly etching itself into the air like glowing runes.

Crack!

He heard a noise like glass shattering, and when he looked back at Gilgamesh, a terrifying sword was now in the king's hand, shimmering with strange red light.

"Awaken from your slumber—*Ea," Gilgamesh declared arrogantly as his body began to rise into the air, his expression filled with pride.

"Swoosh!"

The Witch of Battle attempted to split herself into numerous copies, each ready to overwhelm the battlefield.

"Pointless struggle," Gilgamesh said coldly, raising Ea and swinging it with ease.

RUMBLE!!

An ominous vibration shook the air, and everyone could feel the overwhelming power radiating from the attack.

Crack, crack!

"The world… it's breaking apart?" Waver shouted in disbelief as he saw cracks forming in the sky itself. The very fabric of the Reality Marble was coming undone.

"Is that… Archer's Noble Phantasm?" Saber whispered, stunned as she gazed at Gilgamesh. The sheer scale of Ea's power dwarfed her own sword by comparison. A world-altering Noble Phantasm—something that could influence the very concept of reality itself.

Boom!!

A massive shockwave erupted, sending the Witch's duplicates scattering into oblivion as the force of Gilgamesh's strike consumed them.

"Sakura!" Jounouchi yelled, watching helplessly as the **Witch of Battle** was knocked to the ground. He gritted his teeth in frustration.

"Crack!"

With a sound like shattering glass, the Reality Marble crumbled, pieces of it falling away like shards of a broken mirror. The surroundings reverted to the streets of Fuyuki City, and the familiars began to vanish one by one.

"We're saved," Waver sighed in relief, thankful that they had escaped the strange world of the Witch. However, his relief was short-lived.

"But Lancer is still alive!" Saber cautioned, eyeing the giant form of the Witch of Battle as it rose back up. "Archer only destroyed her world."

The others, including Waver, Lelouch, and Kenshin, turned their attention to the Witch, who had begun rampaging. Her enormous lance swung wildly, threatening to crush everything in its path.

"What the hell are you doing, Sakura?!" Jounouchi yelled desperately, his voice filled with panic as he watched the chaos unfold.

"Hahaha! She's realized the threat I pose and has decided to draw on even more power by absorbing the life force of those pathetic humans!" Gilgamesh called out from above, his mocking voice echoing through the sky.

"What?! She wouldn't do that!" Jounouchi shouted back in disbelief. He couldn't reconcile the idea of the kind girl he knew with this destructive force.

"Fool," Gilgamesh sneered. "Once she used that Noble Phantasm, the girl you knew ceased to exist. What's standing before you is nothing more than a mindless, power-hungry beast driven by a singular desire: to protect you. And for that, it will continue to absorb all the mana it can, without caring about the consequences."

Jounouchi's mind flashed back to Sakura's innocent smile, and he couldn't accept it. "You're lying! She wouldn't do something like this!"

Gilgamesh laughed again. "You simpleton. It's no longer a matter of choice. She's nothing more than a puppet to the power she unleashed. That girl is gone!"

As if to prove Gilgamesh's point, the Witch of Battle continued to absorb the life energy of the sleeping citizens, growing stronger as it rampaged through the city.

"Stop it, Sakura!!" Jounouchi shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth in desperation, but his cries fell on deaf ears. The girl he knew was beyond his reach.

"This is pathetic," Gilgamesh muttered, floating high in the sky. "But don't worry. I'll be merciful and send you both to the afterlife together. Consider it an honor."

High above, a massive surge of energy gathered around Ea, casting a blood-red glow across the sky. The clouds churned, and the sheer force of the energy distorted the air itself. It was an attack so powerful that it would obliterate the Witch, and Jounouchi along with her.

Jounouchi looked up, his eyes widening in horror. "No…"

"Enuma… Elish!" Gilgamesh shouted, releasing the full power of his Noble Phantasm.

The massive energy beam shot toward the ground, aimed directly at the **Witch of Battle**. Even from this distance, Jounouchi could feel the immense heat and pressure of the attack. It was far beyond anything he had ever seen.

"You're not killing her!" Jounouchi growled, his teeth clenched as he stood firm, placing his hand on his deck. "Please, work with me one more time!"

In a flash, Jounouchi drew a card from his deck and slammed it onto his Duel Disk.

As Enuma Elish surged toward them, Jounouchi smirked, despite the overwhelming odds. He knew what was coming next.

"Strong! So strong!" Jounouchi shouted with determination. "But I activate my trap!"

The card on his Duel Disk flipped face-up, revealing his last hope.

"Magic Cylinder!"
