The First Win

Orabela was shocked to receive the news from her secretary. She quickly checked her phone and saw the backlash from the public. Her eyes fell upon a clip in which Layla claimed that the entire Rosenzweig family wanted her dead.

"Why would she say that?" Orabela muttered in frustration, scrolling through the comments. People were rallying for Layla to receive her rightful place in the family.

"No, no. She can't become the heiress. I have to talk to Dad," Orabela murmured, snatching up her car keys as she stood.

"Miss Suzanne, I'm stepping out. Is the back exit clear?" she asked.

"Yes, ma'am," her secretary replied.

Orabela hurried to the elevator and descended to the ground floor. Driving off, she made her way home. As she stepped into the living room, her eyes landed on Layla, sitting on the couch.
