The captain of the dark unit, in charge of monitoring, gave a few quick instructions to the team before starting to write up the day's report. Once he finished, he headed to the Hokage's office, handed over the report, and then returned to continue watching Naruto.
These reports were routine; someone submitted them almost every day.
Hokage's Office
The Third Hokage sat smoking his pipe, casually flipping through the day's report. After reading these records for so many years, he was getting a bit bored. But today, something caught his attention—Naruto had bought hair dye. "Is this kid planning to dye his hair?" he wondered aloud.
Curious, the Third Hokage took out his crystal ball and used the telescope jutsu to check on Naruto.
With a surge of chakra, Naruto's figure appeared in the crystal ball. The Hokage saw Naruto sitting cross-legged, focusing on his chakra.
"Chakra refinement? Finally showing some motivation," the Hokage muttered approvingly. But when he noticed Naruto's black hair, he shook his head with a sigh. "Ah, just a kid playing around with hair dye."
Feeling a bit amused, he decided to stop watching. "He'll graduate soon. I'll send someone to train him then," the Hokage thought, putting the crystal ball away.
As soon as the Hokage stopped watching, Naruto, who was sitting cross-legged at home, suddenly opened his eyes. He took a deep breath, feeling surprised. For the first time, he sensed someone spying on him, something he hadn't noticed before. Ever since getting those 5 drops of Saiyan blood, his senses had sharpened.
Naruto felt sure now that the Saiyan blood was special. But he wondered, how could he unlock more of this power? How far did he need to go to become a true Saiyan?
For example, in Dragon Ball, Goku was a full-blooded Saiyan. If Naruto wanted to reach that level, he'd need a lot of Saiyan blood.
"No, I don't think I need that much. I can feel that my Saiyan blood is special, and maybe I only need a small amount," Naruto whispered to himself. He then opened the Saiyan store in his mind, checking out the unlocked features.
However, everything was still locked, and he couldn't even see the names of the features. This made him frown with curiosity, eager to find out what they did.
"Forget it, let's focus on refining 'Ki.' With Ki, I can practice more abilities, like flying with the Flying Nimbus," Naruto thought, imagining himself soaring through the sky like a true ninja. The idea excited him. If he could master it, his power would take a huge leap forward. With that in mind, he closed his eyes and resumed his training.
The Next Morning
The sun shone brightly, bringing life to everything. Naruto got up early, dressed, and stepped outside. As soon as he did, he could easily sense four pairs of eyes watching him—Anbu operatives monitoring him.
Ignoring their presence, Naruto continued walking, enjoying the gentle morning breeze.
Soon, he arrived at the Ninja Academy gate and frowned as he looked at the students entering. Despite meeting many people on his way, he hadn't seen any experience orbs around them, which worried him about gaining experience points.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The sound of running caught Naruto's attention, and he turned to see Sakura and Ino racing toward him. They were pushing and shoving each other, like two wild horses refusing to back down.
Naruto's eyes lit up when he saw them. Unlike the others, these two had blue experience orbs around them—one bigger than the other. Ino's orb was smaller, but Sakura's was as big as Hinata's and even a bit bigger than Kurama's.
This surprised Naruto but also confirmed his theory. In the Naruto anime, Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata were key characters, while Ino was a bit less important. It made sense that Ino's orb was smaller.
"Naruto, move! Don't block the way!" Sakura yelled as she and Ino got closer. Naruto's position slightly blocked her path, making her shout at him.

Naruto frowned. He wasn't really in the way, maybe just a little, but Sakura still yelled at him. This made him change his mind about his plan to interact with her for experience points. Instead, as Sakura and Ino got close, he suddenly stepped to the left.
Bang!
"Ah!" Sakura yelped as she fell to the ground, rubbing her forehead. "Naruto! Why are you in my way?"

Naruto looked down at her. "In your way? Do you own this path or something?" he replied calmly.
"I…"
Sakura was speechless, unable to respond.

"See? You've got nothing to say. Don't always think about yourself—it's too selfish," Naruto continued with a smirk.
"Hmph!" Sakura huffed, angry but unable to argue. She just turned her head away.

"What good is that attitude? With your fiery temper, you're still far behind Ino," Naruto said, glancing at Ino beside him.
"Naruto, thanks for the compliment," Ino said, blushing slightly but smiling happily.

Sakura, not willing to back down, shot back, "Who says I'm worse than Ino? I'm way better!"
[Experience +1]
Ino quickly replied, "Ha! No way, your wide forehead can't compare to me."
"Well, boar!" Sakura yelled.
"Wide forehead!" Ino snapped back.

As the experience points kept piling up, Naruto's eyes sparkled with realization. He was learning more ways to gain experience points and was already planning how to use this to his advantage in the future.
"Hey, Naruto, did you dye your hair? You look more handsome," Ino suddenly said, noticing his new look.
[Experience +1]
"Pfft, handsome? He looks the same to me," Sakura muttered, though she had to admit, Naruto did look a bit cooler with the new hair color.
[Experience +1]
Neither of them realized that Naruto's new look wasn't just because of hair dye. Thanks to the Saiyan blood, his face had become sharper and more defined, giving him a more rugged, confident appearance.
