Schlunk!!
"Aaagh!" Elian screamed in agony, his voice a mixture of shock and pain as Arlong's sharp nose pierced through his back.
Though Arlong's aim was off due to his intoxicated state, he still managed to pierce through Elian's side, severely injuring him.
Blood started gushing from his side, and he felt the pain coursing through his body. Still, he managed to endure it, thanks to the extra endurance potion he had taken, which increased his pain tolerance.
Elian gritted his teeth. With a quick twist, he broke free from Chew's grip and kicked himself off of Arlong's nose, creating some distance between them.
"Nami, help me out here!" Elian shouted, his voice strained. He clutched his side, trying to stop the flow of blood with one hand while preparing to defend himself with the other.
Nami turned her attention to him. She could see the bloodstain on his stomach, and worry filled her eyes.
Spraying another wave of alcohol at the remaining fishmen to push them back, she ran toward Arlong, aiming the knife at his neck. Because of her devil fruit, her high mobility made it easier for her to attack.
Arlong moved his fist at the incoming Nami, aiming to knock the knife out of her hand. He knew his attacks wouldn't work on her body due to her devil fruit powers.
On the other side, Elian saw Arlong focused on Nami. Seeing an opportunity, he disregarded his injury and used flash-step to teleport behind Arlong. He attacked with his finger-gun, piercing a hole in Arlong's back.
Schluch!!
"AHHHGH!" Elian's attack distorted Arlong's movements. Arlong turned back, but before he could counter against Elian...
SLASH!!
Nami had been aiming for Arlong's neck, but since he turned around, she slashed the back of his neck instead and splashed alcohol on the wound.
"AHHH!! FUCK!! IT'S BURNING!! YOU BITCH!" Arlong screams in pain, getting attacked on his back, back-to-back.
Arlong lunged at Elian in anger, but Elian ducked under the attack and swept his leg out, tripping Arlong and sending him crashing to the ground. Taking the opportunity, Elian gathered his strength and stomped on Arlong's head. The impact broke the concrete floor, knocking Arlong unconscious.
"Sighhh, finally!" Elian sighed heavily. He regretted overestimating his abilities; he had thought that learning those four techniques would make him as powerful as CP0 agents. But he forgot the importance of experience and basic combat skills.
"Elian, are you okay!?" Nami asked worriedly, looking at the wound on his side.
Elian nodded and told her to take care of the remaining fishmen, who were in disbelief at seeing their leader, Arlong, unconscious on the ground.
At the same time, the villagers arrived. They couldn't believe what they were seeing: Arlong was on the ground, along with several other fishmen, with blood everywhere.
They saw Nami and approached her. "What's happening, Nami? Did you two do this and defeat Arlong?" Nojiko asked, as all the villagers were confused. To them, Arlong was incredibly strong, and they wondered how Nami and this man had managed to defeat him and his crew.
"Get the doctor here first! Elian is injured," Nami said, then went after the remaining fishmen, who were backing up, trying to escape.
Nojiko did as Nami told her, but she was confused after seeing Nami go after the fishmen. But what she saw next shocked her. She watched as Nami's body turned into liquid, and she defeated the fishmen easily.
Nojiko and the other villagers were shocked and asked Nami how she did that.
"Well, it's all thanks to him," Nami said, pointing at Elian, who was receiving treatment. "He gave me this power and helped defeat Arlong."
Then she looked around and realized it was finally over. They had defeated Arlong and his crew. It was unbelievable for her. For eight years straight, she had hoped for this day to come, and it finally had. She started crying and dropped to the ground on her knees.
The other villagers also realized what had happened and went to Nami to comfort her and thank her for everything she had done for them over the last eight years. They also thanked Elian for his help.
After his wound was treated, Elian asked Nojiko to bring him a strong rope. When he got the rope, he tied up Arlong, who was still unconscious.
"Why didn't you kill him?" Nami asked, seeing Elian tie up Arlong and confused by his decision.
"Well, I need to ask him something," Elian replied, not wanting to explain in detail.
Nami nodded, then thanked him again. "Thanks again. Without you, we wouldn't have escaped from Arlong's tyranny."
"Also, I don't know how I will ever repay you for the devil fruit and your help. Please tell me if you need anything from me."
"Then how about you join my crew?" Elian said. "I'm going to be a pirate, and I'd like you to join my crew as a navigator." His whole plan for coming here was to get her to join his crew, so he didn't hesitate to ask. And he knew she wouldn't reject him after all he had done for her.
Nami already knew about his plan to become a pirate, but she hadn't expected him to invite her.
She really wanted to join his crew, but she turned her head around to look at the villagers, who were also looking at her and nodding in encouragement.
She nodded and turned back to Elian. "Yes, I'll be happy to join your crew. But just that isn't enough for what you have done for me."
Yaayy!!
The villagers cheered for Nami and Elian. Then everyone started heading back to their village to celebrate their freedom from Arlong.
But before they could go, someone appeared out of the water.
"Huh!? What happened to everyone? Did you all do this?" A man-octopus, Hatchan, who wasn't present during the fight, asked as he pulled out his six swords, ready to fight whoever did this to his crew.
"Calm down, Hatchan. Do you think weak humans like us could have done this? It was someone named Pirate Hunter Zoro who did this. So you should go after him; he ran in that direction," Elian said, pointing towards the sea.
"Oh, thanks for telling me," Hatchan said, putting away his swords. He went back into the water and started going in a random direction, that Elian had pointed toward..

A few hours later*
Everyone was celebrating in the village, and the main focus of the celebration was Nami and Elian.
"Isn't it amazing how he alone solved our years-long problem?" Genzo said, talking to Nojiko. Both were looking at Elian, who was chatting and eating with the other villagers.
"Nami sure is lucky to find someone like him," Nojiko replied. "Though I'll miss her when she leaves with him. It feels like just yesterday she was a little kid, and now she's grown up and has become powerful."
"Why don't you join his crew too? If you ask him, he probably won't refuse," Genzo suggested.
"Ah, no, I don't have anything special, and I'm not as powerful as them. I'd just be a burden," Nojiko said, sounding a little sad.
Genzo saw her sad face and tried to cheer her up. "You know, Elian gave that power to Nami, so he could make you powerful too, maybe. So don't give up."
"Hmm, I'll ask him later," Nojiko said as her mood lifted.
On the other hand, Elian, who had eaten a lot of food to recover quickly, quietly escaped away from the celebration. He headed to the place where he had left Arlong.
When he arrived, Arlong was still unconscious, so Elian tried to wake him up by slapping his face continuously.
Soon, Arlong woke up from Elian's tortuous slapping.
"Ahhrgh!! Where is thi—YOU DAMN HUMAN! Arghh! I'll rip you apart if you don't release me!" Arlong threatened, still in pain from his injuries, which had gotten even worse.
"Shut up, fish. Tell me where you've hidden all the money you took from the villagers over the last eight years," Elian asked. The main reason he had attacked Arlong was because of the Arlong's money.
With over 200 villagers under his control, Arlong had extorted 100,000 belly from each adult and 50,000 from each child monthly for eight years. The total sum would easily exceed 1 billion belly. Even if Arlong had spent some of it, the remaining amount would still be a lot. Elian wanted it all so he could gain a lot amount of system coins at once.
"HAHAHA! You think I'll tell you that? Keep dreaming, human," Arlong said mockingly. He would never tell this human, no matter what.
'We'll see about that,' Elian thought as he prepared to perform his piece of work.
30 minutes later*
"W-wait! S-stop, no more...Ahh...I'll tell you everything. Hhhahhh.... It's hihhen undergrounh behinh the builhing in Arlong Park," Arlong confessed, bleeding from his face and missing several teeth, barely able to breathe.
He couldn't take it anymore and wishes for death to come quickly.
Elian, who had a disgusted expression on his face, clicked his tongue. "Tch! You should have said it sooner. Got my hands dirty for no reason."
