Exclusive Interview: Part 4

"It is a question that you didn't answer in the Press Conference at Jantar Mantar.

The question was, 'When will you marry?'"

"..."

"It's a joke!"

"Ahem! You have been publishing a comic, called 'Naruto' since 1991. In English, Hindi, Japanese, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. Why? Do you like to draw for children?"

"Look here Ravish ji. First of all, comics, and animations, are not 'just for kids'. Cartoons are different. And even those cartoons are far more interesting than your boring news channels!

Ah! Sorry, I got triggered just now!"

Shreya drank another glass of water, and started speaking.

"Looks like I will have to get my BP checked.

Anyway, as I was saying cartoons aren't 'just for kids'.

In the comic-animation industry, things that are very difficult to animate in real life serials and movies can be easily showed.

I will give you an example. Have you seen Ramayan?"

"Yes."

"Now imagine it with animation. How easy will it be to depict Ravan's ten heads? How easy will it be to depict Brahmastra? Normal movies will never be able to reach the storytelling, fight scenes, and emotions that an animation can bring out.

The comic that you said is for kids, has a story deeper than any movie.

I suggest you to read it. If you don't cry even once, then you are a psychopath.

India needs good stories now. Our entertainment industry is big only because our population is huge and they are the 99.9% majority consumer.

And to break away the limits of what normal movies can achieve, animation adaptations of such 'comics', which I call Kesalay, is needed like what Japan has done.

I have established Shreya Animation Studio two years ago, and brought some Japanese animators who are the expers in the field, to create this anime. With better working conditions, sufficient rest, and teaching us Indians of this art, slowly our animation and kesalay industry will grow.

It's like having another Bollywood, but bigger, and instead of actors and actresses, voice actors and actresses, and more international audience. Meaning, more export.

And not only that, it will huge our toy industry, clothing industry, and most importantly, tourism.

Don't trivialise this effort to limit the audience to only the 'kids' demography. A media person shouldn't be judgemental, and have an open mind. You are limiting the creation of an entire industry."

"Ah. I apologise."

"Any more questions?"

"Yes. This is the final one. In this Lok Sabha election, you are only focusing on Maharashtra and Karnataka, right? Let's say that both NDA and UPA are a few seats short of getting majority. And your party is needed to decide which alliance will win.

Which will you choose?"

"That's a difficult question. Honestly, I very much approve of Atal Bihari Vajpayee over anyone right now. Congress hasn't even declared their candidate.

TDP under Chandrababu Naidu is also a good party. Connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru will also become easier.

But there are parties like JDU which I don't really approve of. Bihar was once the heart of India. India's biggest empire, the integer numeral system, pi, calculations of distance between earth and moon, and many, many things have come from Bihar.

But the casteist parties of Bihar has destroyed a once great state.

Honestly, I don't want to associate with any of those parties, which will eventually become rivals.

BP will not choose to align itself with Congress in any way. But, this doesn't mean that we will align ourselves with BJP.

Atal ji is a visionary leader, the best India has ever had. I would like for his party to gain more seats in states other than Karnataka and Maharashtra, and make majority government. But if it doesn't happen, just to stop Congress from coming into power and destroying our country all over again and undo all the reforms brought, we will give Vajpayee ji support."

"Why not Congress? Is your relationship with them like... enemity?"

"It's not like that. Do you have an overbearing parents who thinks they are always right and kids should listen to them? Mummy, is every bit of typical Indian dad. Papa was your typical Indian mom, who understood me more.

I am not saying Mummy isn't a good mom. When both grandmother and Papa was assassinated, she protected us.

I haven't been picking up calls from my family, but that's because I am not ready to confront them about this whole thing yet. We will certainly have a talk in the future. I love Priyanka and Rahul. And will continue loving them.

BUT! Just because they are my family doesn't mean that our ideology and thinking align.

They don't have strong ideology in unity, they don't have care for economic health. It was congress that bankrupted our country, and we were forced to liberalise the economy since Soviet Union fell.

The economy growth we are seeing today isn't because of Congress. It is because an external factor forced the Congress to give up its destructive policies.

In the meetings, they were discussing all sorts of casteist and appeasement politics, freebies, and even considering getting the atrocious, economically criminal old pension scheme, all for the sake of winning elections.

The Congress before Independence wasn't focused on getting power, but freedom. The Congress in initial years of Independence was focused on growth and lifting people out of poverty.

But the congress of now is an empty shell. They don't have any will for development. There is no will of lifting people out of poverty.

The Congress of now, is just a power hungry party, that will destroy the country if it means ruling it.

Mummy doesn't have any vision. Priyanka doesn't have any political interest. And Rahul, he is a good guy at heart. But a mumma's boy, immature, and too cut off from reality. And he, doesn't have any vision.

If after mummy, they choose Rahul as the party president, then that will be the end of the party.

Rahul, is not a person for politics and nation-building. He should stop going along with Mummy's path, and choose a path for himself."

"One thing I have noticed. You don't call Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi as didi bhaiya. Why?"

"That's how siblings are."

"Hahaha. I see. I see. Thank you for agreeing for the interview with us today."

"Thank you for inviting me. Wait, if you want to thank me, would you do something for me?"

"Yes?"

"Make a documentary for Kashmiri Hindus. Go and ask them about what happened. How they had to run away from their homes because the Union government didn't do anything, and Kashmiri government is filled with criminals with bloody hands.

Every media channel should make it. And I won't give anyone money like other parties, but this isn't something political.

This is because the voice for justice, the media, didn't do anything. Honestly, I don't trust you guys. I don't think anyone should. All of you are biased, and harp the propaganda for whichever party that pays you.

The Fourth Pillar of Democracy has long since crumbled, and replaced by a pillar of chameleons cosplaying as pillars. It will crumble as more people realise your true nature.
