We both pulled our swords on their sheaths and pointed the blade at the neck of that person. We both sighed and put it back on their sheaths.

"You should've knocked before entering. I've almost died twice in my own chamber because of assassination attempts. You will get yourself in trouble, A'Jin, if you sneak like this again," I remarked. He laughed and paid his respects to us.

"Greetings, your graces," he says.

I raise my hand and signal him to take a seat. A'Zu and I take a seat. I grabbed another cup and poured tea on it. I gave it to him.

"Did Pei Qin and Yang Hua are back as well or not yet?" I ask. I sip my tea and wait for his reply.

"We all come back together, your highness. Yang Hua might be in pain, but she promised her parents that she'll be okay," he says.

"I really feel bad for her. I've always been the reason why she's in danger," I commented.
