Boom!
The explosion flipped the carriage.
"Kh!" The count gritted his teeth while his knight protected him.
They managed to escape unharmed thanks to the knight's barrier, but they had to come out of the carriage to see what was going on.
"Sir, are you all right?" The knight asked with a worried expression.
"Yeah? What's going on?"
"I don't know. It seems we're getting attacked. We need to get outside the carriage… We might need to return to the city to get some protection if necessary." The knight heard the soldiers suddenly shouting, "Protect the count!"
"Enemies."
"Form a formation!"
The knight squinted his eyes. He immediately slammed open the door above him due to the carriage falling sideways.
Once he got out, he couldn't see anything due to the explosion kicking up the dust.
"Sir. Let me assist you." The knight extended his hand.
