My Own Thoughts

The next morning, I woke up in the middle of the puppy pile again. He'dtaalh was leaning against the door to the bedroom, and when I looked up, I saw Ma'stbaut looking down at me from the ceiling.

Letting out a long sigh, I did my best to slip out of bed, crawling over Axis and Pure as I went. I was sure that I was waking up everyone around me, but they all seemed to continue sleeping.

"How much time do we have before we leave?" I asked He'dtaalh, putting my hand on his chest and giving him a morning kiss on the cheek.

"Why does he get a kiss?" grunted Pure, springing out of bed. Racing over to me, he slid to a stop; his body bent in two as he extended his muzzle for a kiss. "I want one, too."

Chuckling despite my need to throw up, I gave him a quick kiss as well.
