Joe attempted to go after Tyze, but a hand held him back. He turned around to see Patel. "Leave it to me," Patel said with a calm expression. "I'll talk to him."
Joe nodded and moved back to the celebration as Patel immediately headed in the direction Tyze had stormed off to. He found Tyze sitting on a bench, his head in his hands. "Hey, man, what's going on?" Patel asked, sitting down beside him, making Tyze raise his head.
Patel had never been really nice to him, so this was strange to Tyze. "Nothing, I'm good," Tyze said, getting up and beginning to walk away.
"I know how you feel, man. That's Darius for you," Patel spat out, making Tyze stop and turn back to him. "And it's not something that needs to get you mad, you just need to push to be better than him. That's what he does anyway. I am better than him, alright?" Tyze cut in, taking a moment to realize his tone, then letting out a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way.
