Since they had no more training that day, Kain instead returned to his laboratory on campus to further analyze and organize his harvest from the relic.

He'd completed 12 trials, and along with the reward provided by Professor Tameridge, he now had 13 more rare objects than before he entered the relic.

He obtained 2 evolutionary base materials from the relic, the life attribute crystal suitable for Eve and Queen, and the black ore suitable for Aegis. Despite the ore only being slightly larger than his fist, it was extraordinarily heavy and Kain hardly lift it with all of his strength. It also seemed to have either a magnetic or gravitational pull on nearby lighter objects within the laboratory, leading Kain to believe that this material will maybe give Aegis' next evolution a similar gravitational skill.
