"What did you say?" 

"I said that if I were to help you get a mana based skill. What will you give me in return?" I repeated my words.

I calculated a couple of things here. First was that escape was near impossible. Even with everything in my arsenal, I don't think I can out run her. I don't know how she found me but if she can do it once, she can do it again.

The second thing was that I didn't feel like she was a bad person. I am not a person to judge someone based on feelings, but I don't have much to go along with. The only thing I know about her is that she has a sad backstory, and she didn't kill me despite having the power to do so.

So the most obvious choice I got was to try and exploit her. If I can give her what she wants, then can I make her work for me? I don't know but… it's worth a try.
