Red Sands II

(Rhaegon's POV)

"Alright..." I said as I pulled my blade out of a Dothraki's chest, "There you go...."

I heard Morghul roaring in the back as the sounds of fading clashing steel filled my ears. Looking around, I saw the battlefield filled with nothing but flames and crashing horses, like a storm of flame and flesh.

I sighed as I saw a Dothraki charging at me on foot, I think his horse was messed up by Morghul's flames when I did the few sweeps.

I dodged the swing of his weapon and countered with my own swing, cutting his neck halfway. I watched as blood sprayed outwards as his head hung to the side, his entire body collapsing to the ground.

As I straightened up, I saw three more lunging at me, screaming in Dothraki. I dodged one of them, pushed him to the side and blocked the second one's blade. As I kicked him away, the third one jumped and swung his blade down. I parried it and hit him with a riposte, plunging my sword into his stomach.

"Tch..." I said as I swung Fury outwards

Blood and guts flew outwards as the valyrian steel cleaved through his body. I spun around to follow up into a swing against the second Dothraki who was straightening up. The blade cut him from chest to navel, blood pouring out as he fell to the ground.

The first one lunged at me once again and I blocked hit attack, feeling the blade slide into the curved part of his weapon.

He leaned closer to me as I boringly looked at him, yelling something in his tongue.

I headbutted him, causing him to stumble away and I followed it up with a thrust into his eye, stabbing through his skull with ease.

I kicked his corpse away, pulling Fury away as I straightened up, looking to see if I was in the clear.

"They don't end, huh?" I grumbled as I looked around, sweating covering my face, "This fucking heat....I shouldn't have brought my layered clothes..."

I was near Hellholt, the battlefield where House Uller was putting up a decent fight against the Dothraki. I had no clue how many of them there were but I was sure that in my sweeps, I had killed a couple hundred. They had no end to them, I think there were thousands, even tens of thousands. Not currently, in the battlefield, but hiding somewhere in the arid sand plains of this country. They were coming in waves, their cries louder than Morghul's roaring.

I looked over to see him unleashing flames into a group of riders, incinerating them with ease as the smell of burning flesh filled the air.

"Well..." I said as I began to walk over to a group of House Uller soldiers, who were recovering from a recent wave, "Hey, what is the word? I came from Sandstone, finished up a Horde over there."

One of them looked at me, "We don't know." He said as he straightened up, looking around in alarm, "They just came out of nowhere. Salt Shore has fallen, that's all I know."

"Salt Shore...." I said as I looked around, "They invaded from the South.....why?"

"Whatever the reason, they got a lot of them on their side." He said, "And word is that there is a massive black dragon on their side."

I narrowed my eyes, "So the dragon is here, huh?" I said, "Well, I think I should go and greet him then."

"Not just that one." He said, "There was another one, cream and gold. It was spotted in the skies above Vaith not too long ago."

"Another dragon?" I said with a raised eyebrow, "That can't be. The enemy has dragons of their own?"

"All I know is that House Targaryen doesn't have a color like that." He said

"Cream and gold? You are right, there is no dragon that resembles that one." I said as I looked around, seeing the carnage that was taking place, "That won't be good..."

If there were two dragons, instead of one, it could prove an issue. Even if I take on one, the other one will simply take advantage and destroy the dornish armies while I am busy.

But, this is Dorne. I'm sure the Dornish have ways of defending themselves from dragons. I am sure they would hold out until I finish both of them. The only issue is time; how long will it take me to do so? How many men will die in the process? How many innocents?

The entire reason I took the deal was to hold my end of the deal and now that there is a huge conflict here, I had to pull my weight. I managed to help out at Sandstone now I am here in Hellholt, I need to pick the pace up.

I had to do the same thing Aerion Targaryen did. I had to demolish armies in a single day.

If that's even possible.

That's not something a human is capable of doing.

I whistled over to Morghul, "To me." I called out to him in High-Valyrian, "Let's go!"

Morghul stood on his hind legs and flapped his wings, momentarily taking flight and gliding towards me. He landed hard, sand flying everywhere as he slid towards me.

I looked back at the other men, "I'll see if I can finish the Dothraki waves, or at least cripple them." I told him, "I have to act fast, I need to kill that dragonrider."

"Right." one of the men said, "We appreciate it."

I turned to face Morghul, who was shaking his neck and letting out a rumble, "Okay then..." I said as I walked over to him and began to climb atop him, "Let's go then..."

"To see this dragon."

(Third Person POV)

[More than a 100 Years Ago.....during The Dance of The Dragons]

The streets of Tumbleton were filled with blood, and mountains of corpses sat next to the buildings.

A Stormlander slipped on the guts of his fallen comrade, hitting the ground with his face, "Ah..." He grunted as he heard the loud clashing of steel in the distance, "Shit...."

He looked up to see many of his fellow soldiers laid on the ground, either their heads missing or several of their limbs.

"By the gods...." He said softly as he got to his knees, seeing as several dozen of his comrades were running towards a corner, yelling out commands as they did so, "What is going on? Is this.....is this one of the hells?"

He heard the sound of a dragon's roar in the distance, shaking the air as explosions followed. There was nothing but screams, that was all the man could hear. He looked up to the sky to see it covered in black clouds of smoke, flames raging up into the sky in the distance. The camp that had surrounded the Town was set ablaze.

The Dragon had come out of nowhere and laid the entire place to waste. It happened so quickly, that nobody could react this way.

His Lord, Borros Baratheon, had commanded everyone to gather in the town to prevent annihilation but several minutes after the Dragon landed, there was nothing but death and blood that followed.

He got to his feet, being pushed by his running comrades, "ah..." He said as he stumbled forwards, "Wait..."

"Hurry up boy!" one of his comrades, an older man, yelled at him as he ran past him

The young man clutched onto his sword and began to slowly walk towards the sound of the carnage; the disturbing sound of steel cutting into flesh was all that he could hear as muffled grunts of falling men could be heard.

"What..." He said

Suddenly, at the corner of the street everyone was running to, he saw several limbs flying into view, blood following, spraying all over the air.

Then, the same men that had just turned the corner, were flung into the ground after a split-second of disappearing from the view. They landed on the ground, missing some limbs or pieces of their head.

The young man froze and watched as a massive figure came into view; a single man clad in black and bronze armor, wielding two swords. He was covered in blood and guts, giving his armor a deep shade of red as his cloak fluttered in the wind, completely covered in blood.

As more men charged at him, the Young Man saw as the Armored Knight merely stepped through them, his swings too fast to register. The men collapsed to the ground, blood flying everywhere.

The Knight was looking down as he stepped forward, walking menacingly in the direction of the young man. The Stormlander could not feel anything but an overwhelming pressure coming from him, like he was Death Incarnate.

"Gods be good..." the young man said as he stepped back, "This can't be....that person isn't human.....he isn't a man..."

"What is he?!"

[Essos, Back To The Present]

Zaldrizes Jaes opened his left eye, sitting on a stone chair inside a room.

"Hm...." he said as the sound of wooden creaking filled the room, "A dream....."

He looked up and saw the small candles that were littered all over the room, the scent of lavender filling the air.

He raised his left arm to his face, "The next time we see each other...." he said seriously, "I will be in King's Landing...."

His green eye looked over to the side of the room, the image of a tall young man was visible in the dark corner. It was similar to that of the young girl he had seen not too long ago; his body was nearly see-through, almost like he was a ghost.

The young man had long white hair and wore black clothing, a bright green amulet was hanging from his neck. His purple eyes were deep and full of intensity, piercing through him as he merely stood there.

"Is that so?" The Young Man said, "Say, is my namesake doing well?"

"He is." Zaldrizes Jaes said, "Why do you ask?"

"I want to know if you believe he was better than what we could offer you, Father." He said simply

"The times are different. That is all." Zaldrizes Jaes said as he looked down, "He is your blood....in a way, he is you, doing what you promised to accomplish for me."

The Man nodded, "I am glad." He said, "After she died, you changed. It was unnerving. And after what you did to that Velaryon Lord, I knew that it was impossible to go back to how we were."

"You know what had to be done, Valerion." Zaldrizes Jaes said seriously, "Our goal is nearly met. Rhaegon tried his best back then."

"I will go see him now."
