The Tale of a Legend

The grand round table called by Haldor, where every man who had sworn allegiance to House Targaryen placed his sword on a massive stone table, waited in silence for the purpose of the meeting to be announced.

"Does anyone here know who the princess has married?"

"The only thing we know is that this man has a dragon and an army of armored bears. By all the gods, does anyone here know where he got all those talking beasts?"

"Silence, he is now part of King Visery's family; we should be more careful with our words."

Rickon looked at everyone present and said, "If you are even slightly informed, you know that a great army is being assembled at the northern borders. The reason we are all here is to learn about what is happening beyond the north."

"Tell me, Rickon, why should we care about what happens in your northern lands?"

"Because we are at war." At that moment, Viserys's voice was heard rushing into the room, followed by Haldor, who was in turn followed by Luker, Lucian, and Baba Voss.

All the lords of the most important houses of the Seven Kingdoms gathered around the stone table. Many were impressed by Luker and his armor, and most wondered, What is a giant bear doing in a place like this?

"Who is the enemy?" asked a man, glaring at Haldor with malicious intent.

"The enemy awaits beyond the wall in the north; the Night's Watch has been managing so far, but it is everyone's responsibility to unite to defeat this new enemy."

Haldor looked at everyone who was focused on him and Luker and said, "My lord, I recommend that you first explain who I am before discussing our enemies."

Viserys nodded and said, "Handle it; you can speak freely to them."

At that moment, all eyes turned to him. Haldor stood up and said, "My name is Haldor Mondragón. I am a Rhoynar who survived in the far north beyond the wall, and by fate, I managed to acquire a true ice dragon."

"If anyone doubts my identity, you should know that I have a very large army that has chosen peace over war. My father-in-law will tell you more, and beside me is the King of the Armored Bears, who will support all my words."

"A fucking wild bear?"

Luker glared at the man who said that and growled, "Say that again, and I'll tear your head off, but first you should remember that I won't make a mess of it."

"For the seven hells..."

Luker smiled slightly and thought, "And this is only one; I have thousands more at home."

"As you all should know if you have read history, my people were wiped out by the Targaryen dynasty, and what you don't know is that a large portion of the survivors sailed down a river to the narrow sea and then arrived in the far north."

Haldor paused and demonstrated his magic to back up his words: "The Rhoynar were the only ones who have mastered the magic of water and rotation like no other; this not only demonstrates the purity of my blood but also my words."

"I have an adult dragon that you surely saw on the way here and undeniable authority despite my age, so I ask everyone to respect my word."

"It shall be so..."

Viserys smiled slightly and said, "To avoid further bloodshed, the prince by my side has committed to my daughter and has so far shown much devotion in dealing with a common enemy."

"Then, are the wildlings the enemy?"

"No, it is time for you to know about our enemies, those that the great wall was built to keep out," said Viserys as he saw his brother entering.

Haldor did not know if Aemond had discovered Aegon's dream, but that was not his concern. What mattered to him was that everyone committed to contributing to the war, or he would personally cleanse them from the Seven Kingdoms.

Everyone listened; the King was speaking, so everyone listened in silence. And as expected, those who did not believe in fantastic tales were unsure of what to think.

"My lord, with all due respect, it would be impossible for them to pass the great wall built to stop them; what more can we do?"

"Send men to the order of Templar knights commanded by Haldor, contribute with the necessary resources for the war in the north, and be prepared in case the wall is breached," said Daemon, who was somewhat more committed to the issue.

"Do such things really exist?" asked the Lord of House Lannister.
