Now, in order to survive in this new world, he had to make use of this system and try to complete the missions he was given while also trying to level up by killing zombies. It Was Supposed To Be Just Another Day Part 1

A loud buzzing sound filled the room. The dim lighting from the light outside that barely entered the single-room studio was just enough to see a figure lying face down on the messy bed. The blankets that should have been covering the person were now strewn about on the bed and half falling on the floor.

As for said person, he was still sound asleep. He had been up all night streaming, hoping to get a few more viewers. While he did get a few, the subscriptions that paid for his daily life were few and far between. But it was at least enough currently to keep him afloat.

Leon, or Leo for short, was eighteen this year. He had black hair and blue eyes.  He did not have any family. He had been an orphan since he was young and had lived in many foster homes, but none of them had worked out. In the end, when he hit eighteen, he was given a lump sum from the government, and he used that to get his current apartment and computer.

It could be said that the computer cost more than he spent on the rent. Luckily, he had already been streaming from a few friends' houses. He already had enough of a following and cash flow to pay the rent and buy some food. But that was about all. He saved what little money he could to take care of other things, but mainly, it all went to his bills.

He learned martial arts from a young age, thanks to an old man from a mixed martial arts dojo. He had learned many fighting styles from that place. And he got to do it for free. But when the old man died when he was sixteen, and the old man's son took over, his free ride ended quickly. But he had learned enough to get him by and defend himself.

But now, here Leo was, lying on his bed, still half asleep, with his phone going off next to him. It was the cheapest prepaid phone he could afford, but It at least did its job. "What the hell? I didn't set any alarms!"

Leo slowly lifted his head. His eyes were half open as he looked at his phone. His screen was bright red and had some kind of alert message about staying indoors. Leo frowned, tossed his phone to the side, and laid his head back down. Before falling back asleep, he mumbled: "I would have stayed inside even if you didn't tell me to…."

A few hours later, Leo finally got up and stretched. "Damn. I played too much yesterday and only got a few extra bucks for it."

With a loud yawn, he got up and made his way to the center of his room. He then got down and began doing push-ups. "Ninenty-nine…. One hundred!"

[Gained +1 experience in strength]

"Hmmm?" Leo was a bit confused. He looked at the message sitting in front of him for a few seconds before rubbing his eyes. "Did I eat a bad mushroom last night?"

"You didn't eat anything wrong." A voice came from his left side close to his head. He turned his head to see a small naked girl sitting on his shoulder. She had almost neon blue hair and bright blue eyes. On her skin were blue lines that ran in long lines and branched off in different areas all over her body. They looked like something you would see out of a sci-fi movie.

"No, I definitely did," Leo answered back without needing to even think about it. Just knowing he was seeing a naked girl was enough to make him think that he was either losing his mind, eating something bad, or was dreaming.

But still, he reached out to try to poke the girl on his shoulder to see if he could touch her, but before he could even come close, she stood up and flew in front of him. She stood in the air with her legs spread out shoulder width, bent over slightly, and pointed her little finger at his nose. "Don't just go touching a lady! Don't you know basic manners!?"

The figure sighed and crossed her arms across her chest. She was wondering just how she got stuck with this pervert as her host. "Listen." The figure looked at Leo with disdain in her eyes. "This world is ending and out of every world that is coming to an end, there is one person who is selected from the race that dominates that world.  Whether you live or die is up to you and how long you can live for."

"Ummm, okay. If I punch myself, will I wake up?" Leo asked without listening to much of what was going on. He really could not believe he was talking to a small, naked girl. She was cute, yes. She looked to be around eighteen-nineteen years of age. And since she was naked, he could see everything, but that did not mean he would believe the bullshit coming out of her mouth!

"You are not dreaming!  Turn on the news and take a look!" The small girl was getting aggravated. But who could blame Leo? To suddenly wake up to a naked girl sitting on his shoulder telling him the world is ending. Even now, he, himself, saw it as something insane!

But nonetheless, he still turned on his small nineteen-inch TV. But what he saw was not what he was expecting. …

A female newscaster with blonde hair and blue eyes sat facing the camera. The fear and anxiety she was feeling was written all over her face. But yet she still was able to speak to try to warn people. "To those who are at home. Stay indoors. A strange virus has suddenly circled the globe in a matter of a few hours. This virus causes those infected to go insane and begin to attack and eat other people. People online are dubbing this the zombie apocalypse. You have heard me right. The virus turns people into zombies. From the reports we have gotten on those who have been tested at hospitals. They no longer have a beating heart. Once infected, you will turn in a matter of hours….."
