Stronger Zanku

In the middle of the dark and silent city streets, the moonlight reflected thinly between the buildings. The sound of the wind whispered, as if watching the fight that was about to happen.

Akame stood straight, holding Murasame in her hand, ready to face Zanku, her mission target.

"Akame!" shouted Tatsumi, who was beside her, watching anxiously. "He is very dangerous! Be careful!"

Akame nodded, her eyes sharply staring at Zanku who stood before her.

"Do you think you can defeat me? With my foresight ability, all your movements will be predicted." Zanku smiled sarcastically, his eyes gleaming with confidence.

Akame did not answer. She knew that words would not help her in this fight. With incredible speed, she dashed towards Zanku, Murasame in hand. Her movements were as fast as lightning, and even though Zanku had the ability to read minds, Akame's speed exceeded his body's reactions, Zanku continued to predict the trajectory of Akame's attacks and attacked with the sword in his hand, but was continuously avoided by Akame.

Zanku frowned, trying to predict Akame's move. However, Akame had already changed direction quickly, sliding to Zanku's side and launching a sharp slash with Murasame. The slash left a mark in the air, but Zanku managed to jump back in time.

"Good, but that's not enough," Zanku said with a smile, trying to calm himself. "You have to be faster than that."

Akame wasted no time. She attacked again, this time faster and more aggressively. Murasame emitted a sharp light as she landed attack after attack. However, Zanku adapted. He used Clearsight to see through Akame's movements, predicting every step she took.

"Your attacks are too predictable!" Zanku laughed, dodging Murasame's slash. Akame felt frustration starting to well up inside her, but she knew she couldn't give up. With each attack, her energy was draining away, but she wouldn't back down.

Tatsumi tried to help from a distance, throwing large rocks at Zanku, but Zanku just smiled and used Farsight to dodge all of Tatsumi's attacks. "You think that will help you? It's just a waste of time!"

Akame felt her spirits drop, but she couldn't let Zanku win. With a deep calm, she began to focus her mind. She knew Murasame was her only hope. If she could get one right cut in, this would all be over.

However, as the fight continued, Zanku suddenly took out a small needle from his pocket. He injected the liquid into his body. In an instant, an aura of power surrounded him.

"Now, see my true power!" he shouted, his voice echoing in the darkness.

Akame was shocked. Zanku's power had increased rapidly, and he quickly launched attacks that were much faster and more powerful. Akame could only dodge with difficulty, but Zanku had predicted the move.

Attack after attack hit Akame. Her body was hit hard, and she felt excruciating pain.

'No... I can't lose now' Akame thought, struggling to stay on her feet.

"How? Do you still think you can defeat me? Your Teigu is meaningless now!" Zanku laughed.

With one swift strike, Zanku struck Akame, sending her crashing to the ground. It felt like the world around her was spinning. She could feel blood flowing from her wound. In her weakened state, Akame saw Zanku approaching her, ready to deliver the final blow.

"Akame! Don't give up! Get up!"

Tatsumi screamed and ran to Akame's aid and attacked Zanku with all his might, but every single one of Tatsumi's attacks was easily dodged by Zanku before Zanku kicked Tatsumi in the stomach and sent him flying several meters away.

"It's time for you to end this meaningless life of yours!"

Zanku stretched out his hand, wanting to finish Akame off.

Suddenly, from the shadow of the building, an unexpected figure appeared—Noah. With light steps, Noah immediately appeared in front of Zanku by teleporting.

"Gimmel"

Noah raised his hand, in an instant, he accelerated Zanku's internal time.

Zanku's body began to tremble, and quickly, he felt the effects of Noah's power.

"What are you doing?!" Zanku shouted, fear starting to overtake him.

Zanku quickly began to age. His skin wrinkled, his bones protruding.

"No! This is impossible!" he shouted, but all of Zanku's efforts were in vain. In an instant, he was nothing but bones.

Akame collapsed on the ground, feeling exhausted and in deep pain.

"Noah..." She whispered, trying to speak. "You came just in time. Thank you"

"Don't move, Akame. Let me heal you" Noah said to Akame who was trying to stand up.

"Dalett"

In an instant, all of Akame's wounds disappeared as if they had never happened.

Tatsumi approached Akame and Noah with difficulty because Zanku's kick made it difficult for him to stand.

"Dalett"

Noah healed Tatsumi's wounds.

"Thank you, Noah" Akame and Tatsumi thanked him

'I didn't expect Zanku to have a serum from Walker, it seems like he killed an unlucky Walker before' Noah thought as he remembered the strange serum that Zanku used, he was sure there was no such thing in the empire. He had been in the empire for a long time and Dr. Stylish who was an imperial scientist had long been killed by him to take his Teigu perfector for Lloyd to use in his research.

Akame looked at Zanku who had become bones, feeling the burden disappear from her shoulders.

"Let me take you guys back" Noah said as their figures disappeared with the wind.

A gentle breeze blew inside the Night Raid headquarters which made the Night Raid members wary of this strange phenomenon, but when they saw Akame and Tatsumi appear with Noah they immediately relaxed.

"Akame what's wrong?, why are you with Noah?" Asked Najenda when she saw Akame and Noah appear.

"Boss, it's like this....." Akame briefly explained what happened during the mission.

"Thank you for saving Akame and Tatsumi" after hearing that Akame and Tatsumi almost died but were saved by Noah, Najenda and the other Night Raid members immediately thanked him.

"No need, I just happened to be passing by" Noah said lightly while waving his hand.

"Even so, let us thank you. Akame, prepare dinner to welcome Noah and thank him" Najenda ordered, the other Night Raid members did not mind because Noah had saved their members. Although Night Raid is an assassination organization, they have a deep bond and trust each other. The atmosphere in Night Raid is very harmonious and different from the assassination organization that people imagine.

"Then I won't be polite" Noah said before joining the celebration.
