Ch-2 < Miim rampage >

As Kevin and his companions ventured through the vast Tensura world, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease in the air. His thoughts were interrupted when Velzard, one of the dragon sisters, mentioned something that made everyone pause.

"Kevin, Veldanava is dead," Velzard began quietly, her voice mix of sorrow and bitterness. "He was killed by an otherworlder, a human who managed to strike him down. But the reason he could die so easily... it was because he lost most of his powers when he had a daughter with Lucia. All his strength went to Milim."

Kevin fell into a solemn silence, processing the weight of her words. He closed his eyes, his heart heavy with the revelation knowing that he was unable to prevent it.

As they walked further, Kevin noticed something strange—the air trembled with violent energy. Two intense auras clashed fiercely in the distance. His mind raced as he realized what was happening. "Don't tell me... someone provoked his daughter, and now she's rampaging?"

Both Velgrynd and Velzard fell silent, their expressions filled with guilt. They didn't have an answer for him, which made Kevin even more concerned.

"Wait… you mean to tell me you haven't been keeping an eye on your niece?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Both dragon sisters looked on ground clearly she didn't did it.

"Bad girls," Kevin scolded, looking between the two dragon sisters. "Does Milim even know she has two aunts?"

Velzard averted her gaze, her voice barely a whisper. "We just... visited her from afar. She seemed happy, so we left her alone."

Velgrynd trying to defend their actions. "We thought she was fine on her own."

Kevin shook his head. "It's important to visit her. I bet that girl's been lonely all this time."

His tone grew somber as he continued.

I remember milim is rampaging because she absorbed the souls of countless people from elf kingdom whom she destroyed because they killed her pet dragon.

Kevin spread his wings, his gaze fixed on the sky. "Stay here. I'll be back."

Before he could take off, Jyahnar stepped forward. "Kevin, I want to come with you."

Kevin gave her a small smile. "Alright, Cana. You can come. Velgrynd, you should stay with the others."

With that, Kevin, Jyahnar, and Velzard took off towards the border of Dagruel's domain, the source of the intense battle. As they arrived, they witnessed two titanic forces clashing: one, a man with blazing red hair, and the other, a small girl with pink hair, radiating an overwhelming aura of destruction.

Milim floated mid-air, her red horns glowing as jet-black wings unfurled from her back. She was clad in armor forged from her own fury, every motion exuding indomitable strength.

Kevin noticed a powerful barrier enveloping the battlefield. "So, Ramiris is here, and she's already corrupted," he muttered. "Velzard, how long have they been fighting?"

Velzard answered grimly, "More than six days."

Kevin's eyes followed the fight. Guy Crimson, the red-haired man, was struggling to hold off Milim's relentless assault. Each of her blows was infused with her raw fury ,laced with stardust energy. Though Guy was strong, matching her blow for blow, he was clearly starting to wane.

He watched for about an hour and his system pinged a notification.

Bronya: "Kevin-nii, the ultimate skill <Wrathful King Satanael> has been successfully copied and stored in the system."

Kevin nodded. "Good. Now absorb as many souls as possible once the barrier breaks."

Two hours passed as the fight raged on. Velzard grew impatient. "Are you just going to watch?"

Kevin shrugged. "The battle will be over in two hours. Trust me."

But two hours came and went, and the fight didn't stop. Instead, it grew more intense.

Milim and Guy had brought out their swords, clashing in a whirlwind of power. Velzard and Jyahnar looked at Kevin, both wearing expressions that said, Why haven't they stopped?

Kevin sighed, sweat forming on his brow. "Why haven't they stopped?" he muttered, before glancing at Ramiris.

The fairy queen had completely succumbed to corruption. "Damn it. I'll have to intervene."

Kevin activated his Dragonification, his wings forming as he gathered his energy. In a flash of blue light, Kevin launched himself into the battlefield, leaving shockwaves in his wake.

The barrier shattered like glass as Kevin soared between Milim and Guy. Without hesitation, he struck Milim from behind, sending her crashing into the ground.

The entire world trembled from the impact.

Guy staggered backward, finally able to breathe. Kevin landed next to him, his transformation fading away. "Yo, Guy. You alright?"

Guy blinked, his crimson eyes clearing as the influence of ultimate skill faded. "Kevin? I thought you'd died somewhere."

Kevin slapped the back of Guy's head playfully. "I'm still alive, idiot."

Guy smiled, though his face was tired and there was injuries visible. He looked over at Ramiris, who had collapsed, and light began to emanate from her body. As the corruption receded, a small pixie lay on the ground where she had once been.

Kevin and Guy watched as both Ramiris and Milim lay on the ground, finally at peace.

"What now?" Guy asked, turning to Kevin.

Kevin scratched his head. "No clue."

Guy sighed and waved his hand, casting a water spell that splashed over the sleeping forms of Ramiris and Milim.

Ramiris shot up, screaming, "Ahh! Help! Who's there?!"

Kevin chuckled, kneeling down beside her. "Wake up. It's morning."

Ramiris blinked, looking confused. "And who are you?"

"Call me Kevin."

"I'm Guy Crimson."

Ramiris hovered above the ground, still disoriented. She had vague memories of what happened but couldn't piece everything together. Her attention then turned to Milim. "And who's this girl?"

Guy answered, "She's the daughter of an old friend."

"Milim," the pink-haired girl said quietly her nae as she was still dealing with the emotional devastation of losing her loved one.
