William tugged at Jesse and said, "Let's go. This match is dull. We might as well check out some special shows; I've never seen them before. You head back first, Jesse."
Jesse chuckled at William's eager expression, shaking her head. She didn't see the appeal in those shows. As William walked down the street, pretending to be excited, he entered a bar with a large sign featuring beautiful women. Jesse watched him go, sighing inwardly. She'd seen this kind of behavior too often in Las Vegas, knowing it was just male curiosity at play.
Once Jesse entered Caesar's Palace, William turned and walked to a nearby truck, knocking on the back door. The Church opened it shortly after.
Upon entering, William asked Sam, who was sitting in front of the computer, "Did you get the video?"
"No problem," Sam replied, showing William footage of Danny Ocean and his team. "Their computer expert, Livingston Dell, used to work for the Secret Service. I know him well; hacking his computer was a breeze."
Sam tapped a few keys, and the screens displayed video of Danny Ocean, Jason Bourne, and an Asian man sitting idly on a pile of cash.
"BOSS, Rusty Ryan and his crew are inside," Sam reminded.
William looked up at the monitor, watching as Rusty Ryan and his crew, dressed in full SWAT gear and wearing helmets, pushed a large bomb-proof box into the Beautiful People Hotel.
After about ten minutes, seven SWAT officers exited, now ten in number, each carrying a large bag. The two leading the group shouted, "Watch out for the bomb!"
Seeing the bomb-proof box, the surrounding customers quickly moved aside, and the security guards, hearing the word "bomb," started evacuating people. This allowed Rusty Ryan's team to quickly push the box out of the hotel and load it into an armored truck, which sped away.
Rusty Ryan's team was smart; they knew that $160 million in cash weighed 1.6 tons. Without the bomb-proof box, it would have been impossible for the ten of them to carry all the money in bags.
The Church spoke into the radio, "Follow them with the drone."
"Understood," Barney's voice came through. Soon, a signal was transmitted, showing an armored truck entering a garage in a small alley. After ten minutes, Rusty Ryan and his crew emerged, having changed out of their SWAT uniforms, joking and laughing as they headed back toward the Beautiful People Hotel.
Seeing all this, William burst into laughter, joined by the Church and Sam.
"Alright, Church, have Brian and his team retrieve the money. Put the counterfeit bills they prepared into the police car and set a timer to burn it," William instructed.
"Understood," the Church responded, happily relaying orders to Brian over the radio.
William then asked Sam, "Is the video ready? It's time to show Mr. Terry Benedict the truth."
At this moment, Terry Benedict was meeting with Danny Ocean, intending to release him. However, Benedict's phone beeped, indicating a new video message titled "The Truth." Benedict played the video, which showed Danny Ocean, Jason Bourne, and the Asian man sitting in his vault. The scene then switched to show SWAT members entering the vault, firing a few shots, and fist-bumping Danny Ocean.
Danny Ocean crawled into the ventilation shaft, while the other two put on SWAT uniforms, donned helmets, and packed the money into the bomb-proof box. After filling the box, they placed the remaining money into bags, which they hid behind the box.
As Benedict watched himself enter the vault and order Rusty Ryan's team out, he felt his heart race. Glaring at Danny Ocean, Benedict threatened, "Take me to the money, or I'll bury you and your friends in the desert."
Danny Ocean, who had also heard the video's audio, realized they had been set up. Despite being a seasoned thief, he knew that betraying his team wouldn't save them.
"I suggest you hand me over to the police. See that camera behind me?" Danny Ocean pointed out.
Benedict looked up to see a camera aimed at him.
Danny Ocean smiled, "Your threats have been recorded. If you kill me, you'll be in endless trouble. Handing me over to the police is your best option, Terry. You're a wealthy man; losing $160 million is nothing to you. But a lawsuit could cost you much more. So, call the police."
As Benedict listened, his anger grew. A whispering voice in his ear urged him, "Kill him, kill him, Terry, kill him. He not only stole your money but also humiliated you. Kill him, and you'll regain your dignity."
Lost in thought about what to do if arrested, Danny Ocean suddenly saw Benedict's eyes turn blood-red. In a flash, Benedict grabbed a handgun from a guard's holster and began firing at him.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Benedict shot Danny Ocean multiple times. When the gun ran out of bullets, Benedict continued pulling the trigger, "click, click."
Danny Ocean fell to the ground, disbelief etched on his face. He hadn't thought Benedict would actually shoot him.
In the truck, William watched the scene unfold on the monitor, stopping the whispers that only he could hear. He was increasingly fond of curses. Cheerfully, he asked Sam, "Did you record it?"
Startled by William's question, Sam and the Church were shocked, unable to understand why Benedict had suddenly gone mad and killed Danny Ocean.
Sam quickly checked his computer and nodded, "Yes, we recorded it."
"Excellent. Erase the video from Benedict's phone and send the footage of him killing Danny Ocean to the media. Clean up thoroughly," William ordered.
"Of course, boss. We'll handle it. No one will trace this back to us, even if they investigate; they'll only find traces leading to Livingston Dell's computer," Sam assured.
"Good. After cleaning up, take the money back to New York. Once it's safe, distribute the shares. My portion should go to Brian. Understood?"
Sam's face lit up at the mention of money, grinning as he replied, "No problem."
"Church, do you want your share now or back in New York?" William asked.
"Hey, I'll wait until we're back in New York. Thanks, William. I didn't expect this to be so easy. Remember to include me in future opportunities like this. We're a team now," the Church responded.
"Sure, no problem," William said, bidding farewell to Sam and the Church before heading back to Caesar's Palace with a spring in his step.
