Chapter 20 - The Calm Before The Storm

(Nero POV)

At 8 am, we were at the P.E. grounds, in our gym clothes.

In front of us was not Aizawa-sensei, but a woman.

This woman is tall with a curvy yet athletic and muscular build and purple eyes. Her long, dark orange hair is tied into a high ponytail with an elastic band, and she has a band-aid on the left side of her face and wears earrings. On her athletic body, she wears a tight blue spandex top with a single stripe on each side and tight blue shorts decorated with the initials "MZK," and she decorates her outfit by wearing three medals around her neck.

This woman is Mizuki, also known as Captain Mizuki, a pro-hero who, before becoming a hero, was an athletics champion.

I have to admit that her heroine's outfit is quite provocative, even more so than Midnight's, at least for me.

Midnight's hero costume screamed sexiness, but Mizuki's just made her look effortlessly sexy and captured her athletic essence.

And let's admit that a pair of thighs and breasts get a lot of points.

As I was thinking about this, I suddenly heard her voice.

"Hello everyone~. From today onwards, I will be the Physical Education teacher for classes 1-A and B. As some of you already know, I am a hero, Captain Mizuki, but you can just call me Mizuki," she said excitedly, placing both hands on her waist, unashamed to show her muscular body, which, despite being athletic, did not lose its femininity.

Several students greeted her happily; after all, there was a strong contrast between her and our dear sensei with empty eyes.

Everyone was excited about this class except me, for the simple fact that I don't do very well in the morning, and even more so because I spent almost the entire night awake with Ochaco.

"Well, PE class will be simple for the first day, you guys." Her joy was almost contagious.

"On the first day of school, you will all run 10 laps on the 50-meter track. Before you start complaining, you can use your quirks however you want." Her eyes burned with the purest flame of excitement.

Hehehe! She is the most excited person about this class.

I thought, joining my classmates on the running track. Gwen, Ochaco, and Cassandra were ahead, while I, the embodiment of laziness, lagged.

Let's take it easy, I thought, letting out a light yawn.

Just as I yawned, I heard another yawn next to me.

I turned my head to see the owner of the yawn. She was an elegant girl of below-average height with a graceful appearance and fair skin. Her blue eyes had a fierce impression, with a unique target-like pattern of black rings narrowing toward the pupil, giving her a piercing look. Her hair was a very light purple, almost gray, styled into two long braids, wrapped, and tied with the rest of her hair to form two large rings. She had bangs almost reaching her eyes, framing her face with two medium-length tufts of hair ending at her mouth. She also had sharp fangs, like a vampire, and wore heavy pink makeup around her eyes. Her thin and petite body was dressed in gym clothes.

If you didn't look into her eyes, she exuded a calm and carefree feeling.

My calm golden eyes met her fierce blue ones.

"Hello," she said with a lazy smile.

"Hello," I replied with the same lack of enthusiasm.

She smiled lazily and looked up at the bright sun.

"I hate mornings," she said, squinting at the sun as a small bead of sweat ran down her porcelain skin.

"I can't help but agree with you, my lady," I said, also looking at the sun, feeling an incredible lack of energy.

"Oh! Mr. President is quite corny," she said, lowering her head to look at me.

"Being cheesy is part of my being," I shrugged.

"Hahaha! If you say so. By the way, my name is Nazuna Nanakusa."

(Nazuna image)

"Pleasure to meet you; I'm Nero Fujiwara."

Before our conversation could continue, our PE teacher blew the whistle.

"Let's go!" she screamed excitedly, darting off with the students.

Only two students remained behind: Nazuna and me.

She moved her hand, placing it in the pocket of her shorts.

"So, Mr. President Nero is not very good with mornings," Nazuna said, starting to run, not at all concerned about speed.

"I hate them with all my being," I said, running next to her. "And you?"

"I hate mornings too, but in my case, I hate the entire day from sunrise to sunset," she shrugged as a little sweat ran down her face.

"So you're a night person?"

"Hehehe! You have no idea," she smiled, showing her fangs.

Two of her upper teeth were fangs that looked sharper than blades.

"Well, I hate mornings because I don't get along with them, but in your case, it seems to be a little different, right?" I asked, noticing that she was getting tired very quickly.

"Oh! Our dear class president is very observant," she said, sweat running down her porcelain skin and dripping to the ground.

"These eyes are very good," I said, pointing to my golden eyes. But even though I said that, lately my eyes were a little sore.

I was ignoring this problem for now, but if it continued, I'd have to consult someone.

While I was thinking about this, Nazuna, who was looking at me, opened her mouth and said, "Your eyes are really very good. And yes, the fact that I hate the day in its entirety is because of my quirk." Nazuna said with a slight smile.

Her Quirk.

Hmm!

I didn't need to be a genius to have an idea of what her quirk was.

After all, she has sharp fangs, extremely white skin, and a lack of resistance to daylight.

"I thought pretty vampire girls only existed in movies." A friendly smile formed on my lips.

For a few seconds, a look of surprise formed on her beautiful face, but it was quickly replaced by an expression of amusement.

"Oh! The President is without a shadow of a doubt a different person, but yes, I really am a vampire. Well, to be more precise, my quirk makes me a vampire. The name of my quirk is 'Call Of The Night,' it basically gives me the abilities and characteristics of a vampire, both good and bad."

She didn't elaborate further, but it was easy to infer that one of the downsides of her quirk was her weakness to sunlight.

I could base that on the fact that she was already tired from running just a short distance.

Furthermore, in vampire mythology, weakness to sunlight is quite common, to the point that vampires turn to dust when they come into contact with sunlight, as in the film Nosferatu.

But apparently, Nazuna only felt weak in sunlight or something close to that.

An idea came to my mind as we continued running at a slow pace. I approached her.

"Nazuna, could you lend me your hand?" I said, offering my palm.

"Oh! Your girlfriend will be angry." She pointed to Ochaco, who was running behind Gwen, trying to keep up with her.

Because of yesterday, when Ochaco shouted that we already had sex, most of the group with good hearing heard it.

When I told her this, Ochaco almost fainted from embarrassment.

It was funny.

Well, putting aside my weird sense of humor, I looked at her seriously.

"Don't worry, I just want to try something."

"Okay!" She shrugged, looking not at all bothered, and took my hand.

I smiled, activated [Infinity], and then expanded it until the [Infinity] covered her.

Almost instantly, I noticed her vitality returning to her body.

She raised her other hand, opening and closing it.

"What did you do? I no longer feel weak from the sunlight."

"Did you hear my explanation of [Infinity] last class?"

"Yes, something about infinitely dividing the space between you and the target."

"You summed it up a lot, but yes, that's it. What I did was activate [Infinity] and make it block solar radiation emitted by the sun; well, basically, the sunlight is not reaching us."

She, who was running beside me, was silent, in a state of surprise.

But she quickly broke that smile, giving a playful grin.

"Hahaha! Why do I think half of it was just an excuse to hold my hand, you pervert?" she said, clearly joking and giving a carefree smile.

"Oh no, you caught me in my evil plan." I smiled.

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! It's a shame that you're so innocent; you should have taken advantage of this opportunity to make the excuse that you needed to hug me to activate [Infinity]. Then you could have used that moment to rub your dick against my ass." Her eyes had the expression of an experienced monk.

She didn't seem the least bit embarrassed by her obscene words.

"Apparently, there is a pervert among us."

"Perversion is natural; I don't know why people make such a fuss about a little perversion here and there," she said, clearly comfortable with her sexuality. "By the way, leaving that aside, excuse me, Mr. President." With that, she stepped back from me and ran her hands under my arm.

"This is my way of saying thank you, to Mr. President."

When I heard her words, I could only think,

What is she doing?

The moment I had that thought, she pressed her small breasts against me, and suddenly my feet were no longer on the good old ground.

I'm flying.

I looked up, seeing her smug face.

"Astonished?"

"If I said no, it would be a lie. But shouldn't you turn into a cute bat to fly?"

"Bruhhh! Why would a vampire turn into a bat? It makes no sense."

Look here! Don't ridicule traditional vampires; they deserve respect.

We flew around the racetrack for four laps, but when we were on the fifth lap, Mizuki, who had already completed the sixth lap and was on the seventh, stopped and pointed at us.

"Student Fujiwara and Student Nanakusa, stop cheating. You can both use your quirks, but carrying each other is prohibited," she said, shouting while pointing her finger at us.

"It looks like your ride is over," Nazuna murmured with a smile, heading down to the tarmac.

"Okay," I said, shrugging. "After all, I need to improve my stamina, so running the last five laps doesn't seem so bad."

I could use [Mercury], but using it five times on a 50-meter running track would wear me out a lot.

With that thought, my feet touched the ground.

"Will you accompany me?" I asked, with [Infinity] still active. Since it was only actively blocking sunlight, it wasn't wasting almost any of my stamina.

"Why not?"

With those words, we both ran again with slight smiles on our lips.

At 12:50, Aizawa-sensei entered the room.

"Today you will take another test that will be supervised by a team of three people that includes me, All Might, and one other person." Aizawa-sensei looked at us with his usual dead-fish look.

"What kind of test?" Kamala raised her hand, asking curiously.

"The test is to be the heroes that everyone will need, whether in a flood or some other catastrophe," Aizawa-sensei said, reaching into his pocket and taking out a white sign with "Rescue" written on it.

"It's rescue training," Aizawa -sensei exclaimed.

OK! It's impossible to have a normal day at this school.

I thought with a slight smile.

At least it's rescue training. It's impossible for something bad to happen, right? In the auxiliary chapter called "Class 1-A," there are details about all the students in the class and their respective seats.
