Throwing a glance at his partner who was trying to break the barrier with a one-handed ninjutsu, I unsheathed my katana and rushed forward without wasting any time. It was a good time to test my skills with a sword without being in much danger.

After exchanging a few more blows with my opponent and getting a couple of scratches on my arms from the chakra suddenly covering my tanto (like a little death surprise?), I had to admit that I was a bit inferior to the man in terms of skill - if it weren't for the poison and the speed advantage along with the greater reach of his blows, he could have shredded me into little pieces... in kenjutsu.

Noting that the narrow-eyed man was already starting to stagger within a minute of fighting, I infused my muscles with chakra and in one swift jerk severed first the weapon arm and then the head.

A woman's high-pitched scream distracted me from the bloody fountain from her severed neck and forced me to turn my attention to the remaining opponent behind the barrier. Apparently, the kunoichi cared about this man, because the hatred that distorted the rather pretty face (judging by the visible part of it) made me feel a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I didn't wait for the enraged jonin to break the barrier with the thrown pieces of earth, but took action myself.

- Kunai Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.

The kunai sent flying, covered in lightning chakra, multiplied to a hundred (yes, even though Ma didn't know the strong techniques of raiton, but the skill in using lightning chakra with weapons is unforgivable!) and a real wave crashed down on the wall of the barrier, next to which stood the opponent.
