I have to go

The lingering warmth of the moment with Elara stayed with me as we prepared for lunch. Her hair was still damp from the bath, and she looked relaxed, a soft smile playing on her lips. We walked together to the dining hall, the sunlight streaming through the windows casting a warm glow over everything.

Lunch was a simple but delicious affair. Freshly baked bread, a selection of cheeses, and a hearty stew filled with tender chunks of meat and vegetables. We settled into our seats, the atmosphere light and relaxed.

"Do you think I'll ever get the hang of magic?" Elara asked, breaking a piece of bread and dipping it into the stew.

I chuckled, enjoying the playful tone in her voice. "You're already making progress. It's not about mastering it overnight. It's about the journey and the effort you put in."
