It's time to go in

The next morning, a loud knock on my door startled me awake. I groggily glanced at the clock on the nightstand: 6 am. Before I could fully comprehend what was happening, Isabel's cheerful voice pierced through the door.

"Good morning, sunshine! Today you're going to the modeling school!"

I groaned and rolled over, trying to bury my face in the pillow. But Isabel wasn't having it. She flung open the door and bounded into the room, her enthusiasm annoyingly contagious.

"Up, up, up!" she sang, pulling the covers off me with a swift tug. "We've got a big day ahead!"

"Alright, alright," I mumbled, sitting up and rubbing my eyes. "I'm getting up."

"You better hurry," she said, her voice dripping with faux seriousness. "We don't have all day."

With that, Isabel began a mock countdown, which only made me move slower. 

"Ten, nine, eight…"
