169. Hello Entei

"Then let's start the battle with two Pokémon each for both sides! Additionally there will be only one switch for each battle, if you do it more than once, it's an automatic forfeit!" Brock acted as the referee like he does most of the time.

In fact, it doesn't matter whether there is a referee or not in such a battle like this, but such a person can also help the trainers on both sides of field get ready for their fighting and concentrate on the battle.

As soon as the battle started, Phanpy ran up and took the initiative to be Ash's first Pokémon in thsi battle. Recently, he and Larvitar were both being trained by Ash and his Tyranitar, and now that he had the chance, he wanted to see and prove its strength to its Tariner.

Of course, the Pokémon facing Nelson had already decided early on was the same one he was going to show Ash, his trump card, the one he had prepared to catch that Entei, "Misdreavus, come on out!"

Unexpectedly, what Nelson prepared was Misdreavus, a pure Ghost-type Pokémon . This little one's suze and appearance is much higher than that of the Gastly evolution line. Even Misty couldn't help but praise, "So cute!"

Molly was also thinking of catching on for herself when she becomes a real Official Pokémon Trainer.

It was honestly pretty cute. This Misdreavus has a hair style like a Will-O-Wisp, big red eyes, and a string of bright red beads hanging around his neck. She gave the feeling of a rich young lady from a wealthy family.

"Misdreavus, let's strike first, use Astonish!"

As soon as the order was given, the figure of Misdreavus suddenly appeared in front of Phanpy, with a speedy response, she made a face in front of the still very young Phanpy.

Phanpy was still a child after all, so he was immediately frightened and took a few steps back. Ash had instead smiled and encouraged him, "Phanpy, don't be afraid of that Misdreavus, let's use Rollout!"

At this stage, the skills that Phanpy can use, except for Rock-type move Rollout, are all Normal-type attacks that are preety much ineffective against a Ghost-type Pokémon like Misdreavus.

Therefore, this is a battle that this very disadvantageous for both Phanpy and Ash. Although it was just a practice match, Ash ultimately did hope to win and boost his Phanpy's confidence a bit to help him in the future!

Phanpy also got his things together under Ash's encouragement, he quickly rolled up his body and rolled out wildly towards the Misdreavus.

After all, he was trained by a Tyranitar. So they taught him how to use both his speed and his strength to have a greater advantage over his opponent .

"Misdreavus, get out of the way!" Nelson quickly ordered his Misdreavus to get out of the way.

But the longer the Rollout move goes in for, the more powerful and faster it will become!

"Phanpy, keep going!"

Seeing the Rollout attack becoming more faster and stronger, Nelson gritted his teeth and said, "Misdreavus, use Confuse Ray!"

This is a move that can throw the opponent into chaos. As expected, Phanpy, who was attacking in a straight line, failed to avoid the Confuse Ray and fell into a chaotic state of confusion, so he could not continue to maintain his Rollout streak.

Lying down and rolling on the ground.

Seeing this, Nelson grinned, "Now, Misdreavus, use Mean Look!"

Misdreavus's blood-red eyes suddenly released a black beam that hit Phanpy, but Phanpy seemed to have just a flash of black light and nothing happened to him.

"Nelson, is this the so called trump card you have prepared for Entei?" Ash asked with a smile.

"That's right, Ash, now that your Phanpy has fallen into a state of confusion, and you can no longer use your Poké Ball to get him back inside of it to recover. It is no longer possible for him to continue fighting!" Nelson nodded.

Molly is still a little unfamiliar with moves like Mean Look. After all, she was still very young, and it is already very impressive to be familiar with the Type Table. "Big Brother, what kind of move is this Mean Look?"

"It stares motionlessly with a mean look that seems to be very dangerous, so that the opponent cannot escape from the battle." Ash turned back and explained to Molly, "In other words, the opposition who is fighting cannot be retrieved inside of the Poké Ball, and if it is a wild Pokémon, they too can't escape from where they are!"

With this explanation, Molly now had a better understood, "That is to say, to make Entei confused, and then take the opportunity to make it unable to escape, so that there will be a greater chance of catching it!"

"Molly is so smart!" Misty and Brock began to praise her just like they always do.

This is also the reason why this battle is set to a two versus two. If there is only one Pokémon and cannot be replaced, this unique move will pretty much be meaningless, right?

At this moment, the sound system set by Nelson sounded again from the other side of the jungle.

Nelson's eyes lit up, and he didn't bother to say anything to Ash and the others, and he then quickly ran away with his Misdreavus following him.

Ash knew that his group could fall behind if they don't hurry up and follow him, so he told his Latias of immediately used Confusion to carry Molly on her back, and she immediately followed hisnoreder.

"DA!"

Before they could catch up with Nelson, they heard a deafening roar!

Then they walked through the jungle and came to a hillside. On that hillside, Entei looked down at the ground like he was an emperor!

As agreed, Nelson also stepped forward first, "Entei, I challenge you to a battle! If I win, you let me catch you and if I lose— that's not going to happen!"

This is an open declaration of a battle to decide who is better!

As if sensing Nelson's heart, Entei did not turn around and leave immediately, but let out an annoyed roar!

He accepted Nelson's challenge ti him!

"Misdreavus, use Confuse Ray!"

However, Misdreavus's Confuse Ray did absolutely nothing. Entei just casually fired a small pew and formed an attack even smaller than an Ember to block the Confise Ray from even coming close to him.

"Damn it!" Entei being so nonchalant with fighting him made Nelson grit his teeth, "Misdreavus, use Mean Look!"

Taking advantage of the moment the fireball dissipated, Mean Look actually succeeded on Entei!

"Oh yeah, this way you can't escape anymore!" Seeing that his Mean Look was successful, Nelson breathed a sigh of relief, "Misdreavus, use Swift!"

But Entei didn't even try to dodge from the attack. These little stars hit him without causing any harm to him. Instead, they made him feel better from the itch he was feeling in his fur.

This just goes to show how powerful of a body Entei has or how weak his Misdreavus was.

Nelson was taken aback and was about to launch his next attack, but Entei had apparently had enough of his shenanigans!

"ROAR!" (Funnily enough, this is the actual move he was using. Just to let you guys know.)

With a loud roar, Misdreavus was forced to retreat back into her Poké Ball. The battle was pretty much over with this, and since Misdreavus was back inside of her Poké Ball, the Mean Look was naturally ineffective!

Entei was about to turn around and leave, but Ash had already walked up to where Nelson was standing, "Entei, the same rules go for me!"

Hearing his voice, Entei turned back and got ready for a battle again!

There is no doubt that Ash would send out one of his strongest Trump Cards in his current hand and in the future, "Stand by for battle, Tyranitar!"

"TYRANITAR!"

The Desert Tyrant appeared violently and let out a roar that was not inferior to Entei in any form or shape!

After such a long period of special training by Ash and the Macho Brace, Tyranitar has an extremely powerful body and has reached a height of 2.5 meters. If it continues like this, it may actually reach the terrifying height when it was caught by the Dark Poké Ball!

"A Tyranitar? Why didn't he use it against me in our battle?" Nelson swallowed hard, feeling like he couldn't breathe at all. Who is this Ash and why this Tyranitar is too scary?

On the contrary, Larvitar and Phanpy, when they saw Tyranitar on the stage, cheered together to cheer for their big boss!

"Tyranitar, let's go!" Ash's eyes flashed with a blue color, "Tyranitar, Hyper Beam!"

BOOM!

The destructive Hyper Beam blasted towards Entei almost as soon as the order was given, directly blasting the hillside where Entei was located into absolute bits.

Entei had no choice but to jump down from above and stood in front of Ash and his party.

"Entei is so cool!" Molly was so happy to see the real Entei up so close.

The decision to travel with Ash was so right. She actually met the real Entei! She must tell her father when she goes back!

"ROAR!"

Entei and Tyranitar began to confront each other, and the battle of conquest has only really begun now!
