There's been a murder!

After leaving Rose's home in the dead of night I decided to stick around for a for a bit to watch the goings on of normal people and their daily lives.. being a monster like me I've accepted i am no where near normal so I was curious of the decisions the people would make in light of a brutal killing, i also was curious more so what Rose would choose to do with the information I gave her. Would she try to bring me to justice or keep it to herself. Any normal person would feel fear and rush to the nearest guard house, however I was stunned as I watched via my Spiritual sight Rose's husband was angry not at her but his pride was extremely injured.. the expression on her face was one of contemplation.

After a few hours more of oobservation Rose's husband who I'd come to know his name being Henry, he is an important official in this town and had been away on business the past few days, he chose to stay awake all night with his crossbow on his lap.. perhaps trying to protect his home from an more monsters in the dark...

Morning quickly came Henry unmoving from his original position up until the roosters started crowing signing the arrival of the light.

In Rose's mind it had been like a dam had broken Lithia's words should have scared her, she should have felt like drowning in a well of fear, yet she felt calm whenever she remembered Lithia's words, as Rose slept a flood of forgien memories entered her subconscious playing like a movie in which she was viewing from the perspective of a young woman named Hazel. However as soon as she woke up the memories faded leaving her for the time being.

Unlike Rose the rest of Llyne was in a panic as death wafted out from a particular shop, she sight was grizzly the first guard on the scene vomited upon entering, "Ugh.. don't contaminte the crime scene further.. take a break Johnson.." said an old scarred guard.

"Sir! Sir! We have received hundreds of reports of a fake product meant to boost ones mana being sold by the victim.. apparently the victims also just recently purchased the building." Another guard said.

"So.. this killing.. could be revenge for selling snake oil.. but the brutality is through the roof.. I wouldn't want to meet the one responsible.. however we must uphold justice.. go door to door ask every citizen for information about this event.. take an artifact to see if any lies are told.. if there is then make a note and report back to me.. start with the ones who made reports about the fake pills and close off this scene to the public." The scarred guard said before returning to the guard house.

After issuing his orders I watched as the guards paired up and begun making their way through the town. My Spiritual sight is so strong that I can watch the goings on of nearly the entire town if I stretch it to its current limits. I watch as the guard are questioning people some angry, some scared, some nervous, aa I watch all I see is insignificant ants.. however I do see some people who could be of use, some to be used, some that would taste good and some I'd like to mate with.. without a care in the world i could easily enslave this city or even wipe it off the map.. that is if Rose wasn't here..

Eventually the guards arrived at Rose and Henry's home.

"Henry you in? We need to talk." As a guard knocked on the door.

Dazed Henry stands from his seat with the crossbow to his side he opens the door slightly, then after looking at the guards then behind them, causing the guards to become concerned, "You alright Henry? You look tired, been sleepin well?" The guard asked.

"David.. tell me something only you would know.. i.. have to make sure it's you.." Henry asked the guard identified as David.

"Ur acting as bit strange Henry.. but.. okay.. a few years ago.. we double teamed that girl..." before David could continue Henry cut him off.

"Okay.. okay.. don't continue Rosie is upstairs.. good I know it's you.." sighing in relief.

"Why asking me this question and why do you look so rough.. I know you got in to town last night.." David said.

"Dav.. a monster was here... she was heinous.. I think she was gonna hurt Rosie.. but as soon as she appeared she was gone.. Dave she was the scariest I'd ever seen. She was covered in blood.."

David and the other guard looked at each other. "Henry.. I know you must be afraid but we need you to tell us what this person looks like."

As Henry starts to describe my monstrous form to the guards I withdraw my sight from the town and without a second look and a wicked smile on my face, I begin heading to the capital of the Eldorian kingdom.
