After a devastating blast, Chris' body shook for a bit before calming down. 

There was no longer any sign of life emitting from Chris. 

"Sir, you can still cast Revive and resurrect him." At this moment, Feras quickly rushed toward Xu Feng and kindly advised. 

"You've already vented so you can just resurrect him and let the city's guard handle it from here. There is still time left." 

Unlike players who would simply respawn if no one revived their body, NPCs were different. There was a time limit— different for each person on when they could be resurrected with the spell, Revive. 

Once that time limit expired, it meant that the NPC had truly died, with no chance of ever being resurrected. After all, it meant that their mana and soul had officially dissipated. 

Currently, Chris had no sign of life, but there was still a tiny bit of fluctuation in mana, which proved that his soul was still lingering.
