At first, Chiang Xiao really didn't know what to write about.
But as soon as her pen touched paper, she found herself writing more and more uncontrollably, and it wasn't until Chiang Songhai and Ge Liutao returned, as the sky had darkened, that she realized she had written a full six pages.
What's more unfortunate was that she forgot to disguise her handwriting, revealing the neat script she had practiced for many years!
These few pages certainly couldn't be sent out. Who would believe that she could write such fine calligraphy at her current age?
"Little, what are you doing? It's so dark, and you didn't turn on the light or go inside the house. Can you even see?" Chiang Songhai took off his carrying basket and looked at her disapprovingly.
"I got carried away writing, replying to Meng Xinian's letter. I received his letter today," Chiang Xiao replied as she tidied up the table.
