Said Carman as he reopened the system and navigated to the quests section.

"Alright, weird that it's making me work for the welcome package, let's see the other quests"

Closing the quest notification window, Carman opened the Quests tab in the system and looked at the screen with most of the options grayed out.

Description: You have transmigrated to the world of a videogame, you have spent nearly 4 years here and have not done any intense training to increase your strength. The world of Teyvat is filled with monsters, wild animals, and people willing to eliminate anyone who stands in their way. It is high time you got into shape and started increasing your stamina and strength.

Let's start with a well rounded workout, complete: 20x pushups, 20x squats, 20x situps, 5x pullups, and jog for 20 meters straight.

Rewards:

Free stat points +5, 25 exp, 100 System Points, Random workout equipment blueprint (E Rank)]

[Quest: Earn 1500 Mora

Description: the currency of this world, Mora has an value of around 150 to one USD from your previous world without taking into account it's use as a catalyst in many fields such as blacksmithing and alchemy.

Every engineer needs funding to work, be it materials or tools, it is time you gathered some more funding as you start your journey. Let's start by earning 1500 Mora from selling a product or blueprint (please note that system rewards do not apply).

Random sized Mora pouch, 100 System Points, 50 exp]

Description: as an engineer, you used to come up with new ideas on how to solve problems using technology. After coming to this world you have yet to start any major project. Construct any object with a value of 150 Mora or higher.

Rewards: 25 Exp, Random Blueprint (F-D Rank), 15,000 Mora.]

Carman sat in silence as he stared at the task for each quest. I can do the rest of the exercises here, but where can I do pullups? Thought Carman, looking around his room, while there was plenty of space for his small form to do most of the exercises, there was nothing on the walls for him to safely grip onto in order to perform pullups. In order to do that exercise, he'd have to leave the hideout and look for other secluded spots around Fontaine. Deciding not to delay further, Carman put his five year old body to work as he started doing his pushups and situps followed by squats. When he was finished, having had to push himself to finish the last few of each exercise, he felt tired and a tingling/burning sensation in his muscles. While it was very uncomfortable, he hadn't pushed himself to the point pain had flaired up into his arms, abs, or legs.

"I guess I can look for a place to do pullups while jogging, I can even think of what to make while I am at it." Carman said to himself quietly as he stood up after resting and made his way through the hole in the wall to the backstreet of Fontaine that had become home to him.
