"I'll take Zhouzhou away for a moment," Ye Lingfeng said, holding Zhouzhou and casting a glance at Qin Lie, his expression serious. Qin Lie nodded in agreement.
Without further ado, Ye Lingfeng swiftly walked to the next room, leaving the Qin family members exchanging bewildered looks.
Grandma Qin asked in confusion, "What's going on?"
"Nothing," Qin Lie shook his head, then turned to Qin Ren, whispering, "Come with me."
Qin Ren, full of puzzlement but lacking an opportunity to inquire, followed him upstairs without a word.
As soon as the door closed behind them, Qin Ren couldn't help but ask, "Uncle, do you know what's going on with the pirates?"
When he heard this over the phone, his heart nearly leaped out of his chest. He could hardly imagine how his tender little cousin ended up in a pirate den.
Qin Lie looked at him, his expression calm as he said, "Forget about it, don't mention it again."
