Ye Lingfeng Takes Action

"Sharp Tongue Daddy!" Zhouzhou turned her small head sharply, looking at the approaching figure.

Her face lit up with joy, and like a little cannonball, she dashed toward him. "You're awake!"

Ye Lingfeng lowered his gaze to his little daughter and smiled. Just as he was about to embrace her, she took a step back.

Zhouzhou shook her head, her chubby little face serious. "I'm heavy. Daddy just woke up. You shouldn't carry me. It'll tire you out."

A few muffled laughs escaped his chest. Undeterred, Ye Lingfeng bent down and picked her up, setting her on his arm.

He flicked her ponytail, watching it sway like a little green onion, and his smile deepened.

"Don't worry, even if you were a hundred times heavier, I could still carry you."

To prove his point, he lifted her slightly, showing it was effortless. Zhouzhou finally relaxed, but as she remembered his unconscious state, her eyes reddened.
