Worried Terim

Terim paced inside the room anxiously, glancing repeatedly at Rion's still form on the bed.

He had seen Rion this vulnerable before.

At that time, he could not bear it and rushed out of the hospital room. He ended up crying in his mom's arms.

He did not expect that his single action would force him to see Rion in this state once again.

The always smiling and strong-willed boy now lay pale and motionless, his breaths shallow and labored.

"Griffin, what's taking so long?" Terim muttered to the doctor checking the sleeping male.

"Terim, I need you to remain calm and don't disturb me," Griffin replied without looking at him.

He pressed another needle into the already-pierced hand to get the blood for another examination.

"Calm? How can I be calm?" Terim snapped, then immediately regretted his outburst.

He took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "I'm sorry. Just... I don't know what to do..."
