Eight

Viridis was a continent of sapient species such as humans, elves, demons and all of the likes, blessed by the gods long ago, before the burning, it enjoyed peace for many years, many, many years.

However, that peace had many grow complacent and weak, even champions worthy of being called heroes of legend could not help in this regard, the infrastructures, the armies, the call of war, all had slowly grown atrophied, allowing for an empire of power to wipe all out and establish itself as the only ruler.

And now, the influence emanating from this dominion wishes to expand even further, beyond its borders, until the very borders of this world get in the way, and even then, who knows if that would be enough to stop it…
