Daddy Issues

After that heart warming scene of those two opening up to each other we enjoyed the next few days down here in Envy just having a good time.

Alastor joined us as well with him lounging around as he seemed to enjoy his time in the sun, even if his swimwear was also from the 1930's just like he was.

And it seemed to have the intended effect of making everyone else have a closer bond with eachother as we all had fun.

But everything had to come to an end as I lead everyone back to the Hotel after spending a few days together in the island paradise that was my private Villa.

"Uncle Cain, thanks for this, the hotel really needed this as all the guys have bonded a bit more and well, with us too." She said as she held Vaggie close to her with a smile on her face.

"Oh don't worry your cute little head about it, what makes you happy is the least I can do as a father figure, speaking of which have you tried talking to your dad about the hotel and your plan? I mean I know you have me behind you all the way with this, but I know you'd probably love it if he was behind this as well." I say which makes her give me an awkward look as she adverted her eyes.

"It's…. It's hard you know? The worst thing that could happen is…. He rejects this whole idea and…." But I place a hand on her shoulder and just smile.

"Then I'll just have to knock some sense into that thick skull of his, I mean what kind of dad would he be if he doesn't stand behind his own daughters dream?" I say while flexing my fingers where as she squints her eyes at me.

"You just want a reason to fight Dad don't you?" She said accusing me of my real thoughts.

*Gasp!* "Charlie! How could you think so badly of me! I would never start a fight with your father, after all he was always the one who would start fighting with me, 'Stay Away From My Daughter!' 'I'm her Dad Not You!' 'Your the Worst thing that Exists in Hell!' 'You're a Bad Influence on Charlie!' Blah Blah Blah! He says all those hurtful things to me so of course I'd get mad with him saying those things to me, I'd tried being nice before but all I get is his scorn, so I don't want to hear it from you that I start things with him okay?" I said listing off several of the examples of things he has said to me in the past, and what I said was at least mostly true with Lucy antagonizing me first whenever we see each other.

She knew that I wasn't lying, but I wasn't 100% truthful as there were times I went out of my way to antagonize him first after all, "Okay tell you what, we keep working on this Hotel and getting more sinners to come here, Alastor has his Ads going on whenever he's on the Radio advertising the Hazbin Hotel, and soon enough I'll have a proper commercial made for the hotel as well, and with it endorsed by me we will probably be seeing people showing up to see what this place is all about, and if things still look bad a few months down the road we go and get your dad on board with this alright?" I said as I gave her a general plan of action as to what we should do for this place.

"That sounds like a great Plan Uncle Cain! Oh I'm getting all excited thinking about it! I need to go get my journal and start putting things into motion right now!" She said before she ran off upstairs to get to work.

"Take care of her for me Vaggie." I said as I looked down at the shorter girl with a smile.

"You don't have to ask me twice, but where are you going now?" She said with a raised eyebrow.

I rub the back of my neck before sighing, "One of my subordinates Located in Gluttony said that she just found out her sister is Alive and wants my help to go find her."

"Oh shit! Wait do you do this for all your subordinates?" She asks but I wave it off.

"Oh please, if she wasn't high up the food chain of any of my company's along with having a good relationship with me I wouldn't even try to help her with this, but she's one of the best and I'd hate to lose her, so I'll personally get involved, just wished she mentioned she had a sister before and maybe we'd have found her sooner, than waiting more than five years since she got promoted towards an executive and where I'd give a shit about her problems." I got way too many employees for me to give a shit about all of them and only a select few are my executives with at a minimum of 5 of them watching over each of the rings with my Main Headquarters stationed on the largest Tourest Destination of the Envy ring as it keeps all the fuckers away who'd like to ruin what I have since access to Envy is restricted to the rich and powerful and the friends and family of those rich and powerful people.

"But anyway I got to go, I'll probably be back in a week or two, it's going to take that long to at least get a decent and catchy commercial out for the Hotel, so see you later Vaggie." I said as I waved her off as I began to head upstairs to my own room to take the portals.

Soon enough I reached my floor as I exited from the elevator to see Alastor sitting in a fancy chair drinking some dark Coffee.

"You being up here means you wish to discuss something." I say which he rests his head on his hand and just smiles at me.

"I heard you offered to remove my shackles from my employee, Care to explain that?" He said as his eyes turned pitch black showing he wasn't please with what I was going to do.

"Oooo, I'm absolutely quaking in my boots! Is that Alastor, the always smiling man, angry with me, though I got to ask, What are you going to do if I am boy?" I said as my eyes also went black as a black haze began to wrap around my body as we stared both of each other down.

"…"

"…"

"Nothing." He said with a shrug as he went back to normal as if conceding defeat, but not really.

"Nothing huh? Well I wasn't planning to forcibly break your contract with Husk anyway, pissing off a schemer like you can be both tedious and annoying to deal with in the long run." I say with a shrug before I walk on pass and to my rooms door.

"So here's my offer, you can modify his contract to be that you don't own his soul, if it looks reasonable for the changes then I'll do something you'd really like to do, meet your boss in person." I said to him as I saw his eyes dialate when hearing that.

"So think about it long and hard, and when you want to make a deal you can find me again when I'm back at the hotel, and no rushing me Alastor, I hate it when people try and rush me." I said with a smirk before disappearing into my bedroom while I left him to his thoughts.

Chapter 3 is done since you guys hit 150 powerstones for this chapter, I'll upload chapter 4 when we hit 200 powerstones next.

Also it just depends on the day whether I upload more chapters on the same day if multiple milestones were achieved on the same day.
