She is desperate..

Oberon came into the room, giving both of them a strange stare.

"What were you both talking about?"

Due and Selena exchanged glances, Selena gulped, "How much did you hear?"

He arched his brow, "That is the reason I asked," he shrugged.

Selena was relieved, she felt relief wash over her face.

"We were just.."

Due chipped in, "We were just talking about some random things, it is mainly for ladies.. you know.." she laughed nervously.

"Hmm, is that so?"

Selena nodded, "Yes.. yes, that is exactly what we were talking about, random matters."

Oberon squinted his eyes, he didn't want to believe them because something was off, but he just nodded.

"If you say so," he nodded, he looked at Due, "Leave us Due, I want to talk to her."

Due looked at Selena, gave her an assuring nod, bowed and left the room.

Selena heaved, "What do you want to talk about?"
