Yes, I was hit by a car last week. I thought my bad luck was fading away, but in fact, it was just taking a step back to get a running start for a flying kick.
I've crossed streets outside of crosswalks several times, crossed without looking both ways, even while using my phone, but I never imagined I'd be hit while walking on the sidewalk.
There I was, walking peacefully, when I heard someone shout, and then I just felt an impact on my back. I had imagined being hit by a car before, but never in such a cowardly way. I mean, what are the chances of being hit on the sidewalk when you have your back turned?
But do you want to know the best part?! I broke my left leg, 4 ribs, 3 fingers on my right hand, and fractured my left wrist.
The worst part is, I can't even be mad at the man who hit me. Apparently, he had a seizure. As far as I know, it was the first time it had happened to him. In a recording from a nearby store, you can see the car going straight, and suddenly it veers and hits me. Either he was hunting me, or he really had an attack, hahaha.
Anyway, I'm not exactly fine, but I'll get better. I'll pause this story until I recover, or at least until I can write without feeling my bones tearing through my flesh.
(Seriously, writing this notice was painful, hahaha.)
I don't know when I'll be back, but maybe in a month or two. In the meantime, maybe this will help me plan the story better. Anyway, thanks to everyone for reading, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
