The red eyes of the gorilla Adjuchas opened wide like lanterns, exuding a cruel and violent aura. The oppressive Reiatsu filled the air, accompanied by a strong smell of blood.

It was nothing like the Adjuchas that Tokikaze dealt with earlier.

This one was a genuine Adjuchas, composed of tens of thousands of Hollows devouring each other. It was above standard in terms of both Reiatsu and intelligence.

Typically, Adjuchas was about as strong as a Captain-Class Soul Reapers, but this argument was debatable. At least, Tokikaze didn't seem to pay much attention to this big fellow.

"What's with that look of yours!?"

The gorilla Hollow immediately became enraged after being ignored by Tokikaze. "A mere food has the audacity to give me that look!"

Its roar was like a thunder strike, as shockwaves visibly spread through the air.

The reinforcements on the edge of the plain were even more intimidated by the scene. Their already stiff bodies were on the verge of collapsing to the ground.

Fear was evident in their pupils, and sweat dripped continuously from their cheeks, almost soaking their clothes.

"Have these rebels gone mad? They actually opened a Garganta!"

"Adjuchas is not something we can handle. Send a distress signal to the Soul Society."

"Fools, haven't you seen that person in the sky yet?"

"That's the heir of the Tsunayashiro Clan, Lord Tokikaze, who also serves as the Captain of the Ninth Division!"

Among the participants in the war, although the majority were not Soul Reapers from Gotei 13, some of them recognized Tokikaze.

Most of them joined the war as nobles.

As the voices quieted down, almost everyone's gaze turned to the figure on the sky.

Faced with an unbeatable opponent, all hopes were now pinned on Tokikaze.

They didn't want to die in the jaws of a Menos after winning the war.

"Shut up already."

Tokikaze raised his hand and pointed his finger, "Hadō #4: Byakurai."

Tokikaze tested the waters with Byakurai! A flash of lightning was fired across the sky.

The intense heat instantly pierced through the clouds and f the Adjuchas.

Boom!

Flames soared into the sky, dust and smoke billowed, obscuring the enormous body several meters high.

Along with it came the screeching wail of multiple voices.

Hado #4 Byakurai alone was enough to break through the defenses of Adjuchas, who didn't have Hierro like Aizen's experimental subject.

"Curses, you damn it!"

A roar echoed, and the gorilla Hollow's figure rushed out from the dust.

Blood gushed out from its arm, almost dyeing the ground red.

A more intense aura spread from its surroundings.

Intense pain riled up the gorilla Hollow. It slammed its fists on the ground, causing the ground to collapse, as it propelled itself into the air, heading straight for Tokikaze in the sky.

Its massive body closed the distance in an instant, and it suddenly struck Tokikaze with its gigantic arm.

This scene left the spectators gasping. If it were them, they might have turned into a pulp from that punch alone.

Facing the impending colossal body, Tokikaze's eyes remained indifferent. He didn't retreat but instead moved forward, shifting his body horizontally. He gathered Reiatsu on his right leg and delivered a powerful kick!

Hakuda Technique: Rankyaku!

As they went past each other, the gorilla Hollow's colossal fist hit thin air and Tokikaze's Rankyaku hit its abdomen.

In an instant, the intense pain from the abdomen made its eyeballs bulge, and its fangs were exposed, but no sound came out.

In the next moment, the colossal body was sent flying across the horizon and heavily landed on the plain a kilometer away.

Boom!

The ground cracked and shockwaves were generated as the gorilla Hollow sank several meters deep into the location it landed. Dust and debris covered the vicinity due to the mess.

When the dust settled, the giant figure lied at the center of a crater. Its red eyes were unable to look at the sky, and it was completely speechless.

Why did the Soul Reapers in the Human World seem more like monsters than him?

The last time it came to the Human World before, those Soul Reapers clearly avoided him, and even if they encountered him, they were just a good meal.

But now, his current situation led him to question his life choices.

Tokikaze didn't think too much. The power of the Rankyaku exceeded his expectations, and with a full-force strike, it was enough to break through Adjuchas' defenses.

If his Shunko was perfected in the future, he could easily contend with most Captains even without using his Zanpakuto.

From the deep pit in the distance, a more violent Reiatsu suddenly soared, like a storm arriving suddenly, directly sweeping across the entire plain.

A red light blossomed at the bottom of the deep pit, where a massive Reiatsu gathered in the atmosphere.

The gorilla Hollow's figure reappeared in the line of sight, but unlike before, there was a large hole in its abdominal area, as if its bones had been gouged out.

It opened its mouth, revealing a huge red light sphere that was charged.

Cero!

The red light was discharged, crushing everything in its path and created a massive trench!

"Hado #63: Raikoho."

Tokikaze showed no intention of dodging. Instead, he fired Raikoho!

Bright golden light radiated, overpowering the Cero and even struck the gorilla Hollow.

With an increased spirit affinity and his proficiency in Kido, Raikoho was a really deadly weapon that easily obliterated everything in its path!

Boom!

A deafening explosion suddenly swept the plain, shockwaves lifting a fierce wind. The verdant plain, like a carpet, was forcibly leveled on the surface.

Under the sky, a radiant golden glow bloomed, as if a small sun was slowly rising.

When the dust settled, the Adjuchas' Reiatsu had completely disappeared.

And just as everyone was about to breathe a sigh of relief, the Garganta in the distance began to expand again. 

The dark and gloomy Reiatsu began to permeate and it seemed as if the sky was collapsing!
