4.2 Dragon Rising

A/N[I wanted to make this chapter longer but couldn't, I was writing Elenwen's point of view, but got a few things wrong in it about the Empire and Aldmeri Dominion, so I removed that section from this chapter when I fix it, I'll add it to some other chapter]

Aaargh!

I let out a scream, being burned was not fun, then I heard it, the angelic sound, I knew what I had to do, and it was to wait till the dragon ran dry of fire.

In those 5 seconds, I felt myself burn, and my skin started to melt inside the armor. While the dragon continued to spit fire on me, I placed the armor that was melting on my body, into the inventory.

After the most grueling and torturous five seconds of my life had passed, I fell on the ground, my body was burnt beyond recognition, and with my eyes closed because I couldn't open them anymore, I opened the system.

Assigning 10 points to my health, I could feel myself regenerating, new flesh materialized out of my body, and knitted itself on me.

Haa!

I breathed, heavily, I opened my eyes, sitting up on the ground, I looked down, my dick was there, and feeling the burn there was excruciating, but I didn't feel the phantom pain because when I collapsed my nerves were already destroyed.

A/N[Don't know about that chief]

I quickly touched my head, and they were still here, my hair! they had become short but they were still here, I sighed.

A/N[I described him with long hair, but couldn't find photo, so someone did it for me so I made that canon

Haa!

I breathed again as I stood up to take care of what was in front of me, Mirmulnir, that was its name, and the first one to make me reach that close to death. I'll remember it well.

Swoosh!

I moved faster than anyone could see as the ground shattered beneath my feet, my speed increased exponentially, and it was the same for my strength.

I jumped up when I reached near the dragon's feet, a 20-foot high jump, I took out my Iron Warhammer at the highest point in the air to generate the maximum force possible, as I descended the air, landing the hammer straight on the dragon's head, killing it.

The hammer dug into its skull, as the dragon roared the last time. I took the hammer out as I felt someone hug me from behind me.

"Darius! Thank the Divines, you're alive," Irileth cried as she hugged me.

Perspective change (Irileth)

We were rain arrows at the Dragon flying above us, I looked over to Darius, his speed was unmatched, the arrows appeared between his fingertips as he pulled back the string of his bow.

It was otherworldly, I think I chose the right man to love. After spending so much time on the battlefield, I finally found a worthy man.

I was distracted when he suddenly ran up to me and pushed me back, I saw the dragon fly above us, spitting fire. That attack Killed 4 more of our soldiers.

After killing the 4 soldiers, the dragon seemed to regain its ignorance and floated in one place flapping its wings, and suddenly there was a beam of light aimed toward the dragon.

Making the dragon fall to the ground because the beam made a large hole in its wing, I looked to see the source and I saw Darius, I knew it.

I was laughing in my head with a stupid smile on my face, I looked at him again to see him running toward the dragon.

What happened next was the worst my heart has ever felt, I saw the dragon spit fire, and Darius was unable to get out of the, I could feel it, as tears fell from my eyes.

And I could only watch the dragon burn my first love, I felt lost, but that won't do anything right, I've been on the battlefield before, I've seen many die, and the dead cannot return.

I took my bow and started raining arrows at the dragon, while it sprayed its fire on my love.

Then it stopped I took my sword and ran toward the dragon I was about to reach the dragon when I noticed something move from the side of my eye.

I looked up following the blur, and I saw a completely naked man halted in the air, with short golden hair, 'Golden hair?' my heartbeat started to race.

Then I heard a loud thud and saw the dragon lying on the ground, I looked at the back of the golden-haired man, I quickly ran to him hugging him from the back I knew who it was, my love.

"Darius!" my eyes watering again.

Scene change ()

A few hours ago:

Three people were strolling the jungle, the women were wearing leather armor while the man had steel armor on.

They were here for an Animal Extermination request that required three people.

Aela was walking ahead of Ria and Farkas, while the two followed quietly, Suddenly Ria, ran up to Aela's side, leaning to her shoulder, "So, How did you like the golden guy?" She asked. Aela turned her head to her, "What do you mean?" Aela asked confused by the sudden question.

"What, you don't know what he was doing?" Ria asked dumbfounded.

"No? Why not just tell me?" Aela asked irritated at Ria's behaviour, "I don't wanna be your Brother," Ria said mimicking Darius' voice and making a smolder face.

"So, what? Maybe he didn't like me calling him brother," Aela said with a straight face, "And what does that tell you?" Ria asked with a blank stare.

"It tells me he-" Suddenly Aela's face flushed red, Ria noticed it and decided to tease her a little more, "And what about putting the sword in your sheathe?" Ria asked her eyebrows jumping up and down, the side of her lips curled up.

"What does that mean?" Aela asked the skepticism returning to her face.

Ria leaned into her ear and whispered something that made Aela's face release steam and become red as a rose.

Aela fastened her speed, leaving the two behind.
