From the commentator's booth, Gina and Kevin felt that there was something different going on in the court. 

"I don't know about you, David," Gina said, finally seeing Kai's appeal. She felt it was a genius play to make the Champions believe he was going to stay as the pawn of the game, then proceed to reveal himself as the King in the end. 

"But it feels like Kai is just getting started."

"Oh, I know what you mean," David said, shaking his head. "It's insane how he doesn't look tired at all. Even Jian looks spent!" 

Above them, the Elites were watching intently. 

"He doesn't play like this," Fang said, shaking his head as he watched Kai steal the ball from Jimmy—the action barely noticeable with his speed. 

"Or, am I wrong? Has he always been this good?" he asked. 

Max pursed his lips before shaking his head. "He's good," he muttered. "But he's not THIS good."
