That's Our Difference

Lina's breath got caught in the back of her throat. 

She wasn't expecting the conversation to turn out this way. 

Suzy let out a chuckle, finally freeing her hands and placing them on the cold, metal surface. 

"It sounds absurd, right?" she chuckled. "How could a boy change how I think?" 

"But then again, seeing him chase his dreams despite other people trying to put him down inspired me." 

"Somehow, I want to learn that from him—to have something you're so passionate about you'd be willing to sacrifice for it." 

Lina pursed her lips since she felt the same way. However, the only thing that differed was that she felt she was already far too similar to Kai. The two of them had large goals, and she wanted to achieve those goals together. 

"I know I look crazy trying to capture his attention most of the time, but that's because this is the first time I'm doing this—the first time I'm chasing something I like."
