Exclamations of amazement were the only things heard in the arcade as Kai continued beating its high score.
The current high score was 198, and Kai was already down to 350.
A small crowd had formed around him, but he didn't seem to notice them.
Fei had been cast to the side, appearing disappointed yet still intrigued by Kai's shooting streak.
"What the heck?" she muttered. "He's still going?"
The others, especially the little kids, had recognized Kai, and before he knew it, they were chanting his name.
"Kai Guo!"
"Kai Guo!"
Kai, however, didn't pay them much attention. In front of the basketball hoop, he had set his goal of making 500 shots.
434 shots in, and the ring was moving like crazy.
Even the arcade workers couldn't stop but stare.
"What is that kid doing?" one of them asked.
"That kid is Kai Guo—the player from Shizi Dogs who managed to get the rookie and overall MVP."
