Marcus's jaw dropped as his eyes suddenly went wide with fear. He started to tremble as his fears became real and he spoke in a terrified tone.

"Rick is your boyfriend's uncle? Are you shitting me now? Oh god, the hell am I gonna do?"

She sits back down seeing his panicked expression. "Roman promised you would be safe. He swore it...trust me."

Marcus took a deep breath and closed his eyes to clear off all the fear and panic his mind was filled with. He slowly opened his eyes again and he spoke in a gentle and calmer tone.

"I trust you sis. If Roman says that I'm safe then he knows what he's talking about. You're right."

"Just hang in there...I'll do my best to ensure that you are out of here ASAP."

Marcus couldn't help but feel so relieved and thankful when she said this. It helped calm his nerves and it truly meant a lot to him. He spoke in a more happy and optimistic tone while also giving her a tight and warm hug.

"Thank you, sis. That means the world to me. I know that if you can't do it then there is nobody else who can help me. I know that you will do your best to get me out."

Megan walked into the mansion garden looking for Roman. Someone told her he was talking to some of his men out there and she wanted to suprise him.

"Hey my love-"

"This is what betraying me gets you!" Roman yells opening fire.

Megan is too stunned to continue talking when she sees Roman shoot a man in the back of his head. The man was tied up and beaten up before hand.

Megan's heart almost skipped a beat as she heard what Roman just said. She didn't expect what she saw either. The moment the man fell dead on the ground her heart ached in pain as she saw Roman pointing the gun at him with the most angry look on his face. She wanted to say something but she was so stunned and shocked she just couldn't. Her mind was racing with so many thoughts and feelings but she was left too speechless to say anything in that moment.

"Sir...Miss Megan is here." His bodyguard points out to Roman.

Roman's eyes snapped away from the man on the ground and as soon as he saw Megan his entire demeanor instantly changed. His expression looked more fearful and nervous as he immediately hid the gun behind his back and he spoke in a nervous but gentle tone.

"Megan I-...oh god, did you just see what I did?"

She runs back to the house feeling her body shaking. This was something she wished she didn't see. The look on Roman's face when he pulled that trigger scared her so much but it was imprinted in her mind.

Once he saw her start running, he ran back into the house after her. He managed to catch up with her and grabbed her arm. He stopped her with a firm grip on her arm and he spoke in a more comforting and soothing tone.

"Hey, hey! Calm down. It's ok, don't worry about it. I just did what I had to do. Don't worry love."

She yanks her arm away. "Don't talk about murder like it's something casual! That person had his life! A family that will never see him again."

Roman grew more defensive when she reacted this way. He couldn't help but feel a little frustrated due to her lack of understanding of this lifestyle. This was how he was taught and he couldn't change that. He felt a strong urge to say something back to her in an angry tone but he knew she was right. She was just being upset because of what she saw and he needed to remember that.

"I know love. But you got to realize that's just how it is out there. People are evil. I did what I had to do."

"You don't seem like a saint to me."

He instantly froze when she said this. He couldn't help but feel completely destroyed by her words here. He was taken aback by what she said and he had nothing to say back. For a moment his world came to a stop and all he could do was stare at her blankly.

Megan realises her words may have been abit too harsh. Roman was clearly hurt by her words.

"Sorry Roman. I shouldn't have said that."

Roman was still upset but he could see that she regretted her words. His angry expression changed into one of sorrow as his lips pouted up a bit.

"Is that how you really see me now? As a bad person?"

"No. Roman. I love you. I just got scared seeing you like that."

His expression instantly brightened up as soon as she spoke those words. He didn't doubt her feelings for him at all. He just needed to hear that from her own mouth. He felt relieved to know that she still loved him. His sorrowful expression instantly disappeared and he smiled while he spoke in a more soft and gentle tone.

"It's ok. I promise you, I'll never hurt you. I would never do that to the woman I love."

She looks up at him. Studying his handsome face. Wondering if he would never really hurt her as he claimed. She didn't want to think badly of him but he was a man that was unpredictable and anything could happen.

"I know." She smiles, "Just...kiss me now."

Roman didn't need to be asked twice. He didn't hesitate to pull her close to him and pulled her into a long and tight kiss. With each movement he made, he made sure she felt safe and loved. He wanted her to love him just as much as he loved her and he wanted to show her all his affection.
