It's been days since Alexi confessed his love for me and everything has been nothing short of a dream come true.

We go to bed in each other's arms and I wake up with him holding me so tight as if he is afraid of losing me.

I've been sitting in my office all morning, working with my team when my cousin came marching into the office.

"Lilith," he whined like a child. "You promised me that you'd expand both of our teams."

He sat down at the other side of my office table and pouted.

"I did promise," I sighed as I placed down the documents I was reviewing. 

"I know your workload has since doubled, but Lili I don't think our people can take more," he grumbled.

"Sorry, Lex, I'll get on it today," I said as I glanced at my watch. "On top of the investigation, Grandpa shifted at least half of the company holdings to me already."

There was a big announcement about how half of Durfort Group would now be reporting directly to me.
