Eldrich Young didn't announce who we were, it's not like my husband needed any introduction.

It didn't miss our attention, however, that my ex kept glancing in our direction. 

I wasn't sure if what kept him looking was the fact that I was here or that Alexander was here. Just one curious question could blow his lie wide open if he hadn't figured that it already was.

Alexi had told me how he had dangled the opportunity of a partnership in front of Eldrich Young if the man did everything Alexi asked.

It was no surprise to me that Eldrich agreed to his terms, the man gave everything up for his company, and what more was giving up his stepson that lied to him.

"Lilibeth," Eldrich said as he approached us. 

My bodyguard inched closer, ready to attack the man if anything happened.

She was here under the pretense of guarding Riley since an assistant having a bodyguard would be too suspicious.
