GROWL !!

Aurelius had a massive growl that shook the forest . He stood up , his body already in a flight or fight response mode. His heartbeat quickened and his eyes became sharper. He quickly checked his surroundings only to see far ahead a kid running .

The kid was around 8 years , wore ragged clothes that had some blood stains. His hair was blue and so were his eyes. However what struck him as peculiar was his gill like ears. He was a merman or merboy in this case.

He could not see the beast but something told him that it was close. He quickly ran to the kid grabbed him and jumped to a nearby tree . The kid was about to scream due to his sudden kidnapping but Aurelius held his mouth in time. 

Just then on the vicinity a large 4 metre bear appeared . It seemed like a normal black fur bear except for its eyes . Its eyes were pure black signifying a C-Ranked beasts which was akin to Master level strength.
