When Chris saw the notifications, he didn't understand what was going on. Forming a mana core is not an easy thing. It would take weeks to months to do so.

Even with a high-level meditation technique and past life experience, Chris calculated that it would take a few days before he would be able to form his core. After forming the core, a few more days to form mana veins. This was his calculation but everything was changed.

He formed his core in a matter of a few hours. It was not even the end of the day but he already formed a core.

While forming a core, one has to visualize the formation of the core. Visualization may not take minutes to do so but mana core formation does. It would be like telling your body and mana, where you want to form your core and what it would look like.

Usually, a core looks like a sphere because it has the largest surface area. Though it was the popular choice, it wasn't always the chosen shape. Some people change shape to fit their element.

Yes, a F-rank wouldn't have a mana core when he awakens. He would create a core so that he could advance his rank. A core doesn't form out of thin air when one awakens, they have to form it after awakening, which is like a verification method on whether you have access to mana or not.

Once it was verified that you have access to Mana, you have to form your core. After it is done, you have to upgrade your core in order to increase your strength. Mana Veins are not required at this stage as most spells are weak and don't need their help to use spells.

Only once one reaches C-rank, they are absolutely required. if one can't form them by then, they will forever be D-rank and will never reach C-rank.

This is how it should be but it all changed in a few hours.

"Is this just because I have previous experience or is it because of my luck or is there something else at play? No matter what it is, I don't have the ability to find the reason behind this. Let's think about it later. Now let's think about those other notifications. I have no idea what was happening".

"Partial reawakened Earth?"

"Quest?"

"What was all this about?"

"I could understand partial awakening. It would mean that Earth is still restricting its core around magic but what does it mean by reawakened? Did mana exist on earth before? There are too many questions about this, which I don't have a clue about".

"Then there is the quest about helping Earth's Core to reawaken faster and perfectly. There was a hint that there would be hurdles in the awakening of Earth. Who could it be? From what I knew I could say Earth awakened last time. If not how could have we exhibited powers here?"

"Did something else happen in the back scenes? Hmm, thinking about this, shouldn't someone else have gotten this quest back then, shouldn't they? If it happened back then, then now it is my responsibility. Wait...let's see those notifications again.

The quest appeared because I have obtained a title, Ascension Pioneer, which was given to me because I awakened in a partially awakened world. This was not easy. Unless someone else had time-travelled like me back then and succeeded in forming a core, they wouldn't have got the quest.

This is almost impossible but so does what happened to me. There was a chance that it happened back then and someone helped Earth to awaken properly or...maybe not perfectly but sure did help reawaken but it took the entire time frame to do so.

Only at the end of the year did people showing abilities start to appear on Earth. So if I do help Earth complete the awakening faster, then would the abilities manifest faster on Earth?

Hmm, I believe it would be for the best. If the people knew that abilities could be manifested, then more would enter the game to gain benefits. Sure, the future would be changed but only by doing this would the criminal element lessen on Earth.

If abilities are exposed earlier, it would be much weaker than later when the players are at higher levels, which would lessen the damages caused at the start, giving the governments to better control the chaos. I hope it does but I shouldn't put all my eggs in one basket.

I should improve myself too as soon as possible. When those bastards appear, I could take them down before they cause much damage. In this way, the damage could be controlled but there is a chance that the heroes that appeared later would miss their chances because of competition. This would only hurt the world in the long run.

No matter the action, there would be consequences. The only question would be which choice should I choose?"

Chris decided to think about this question later. This was not something that he could decide on a whim. It would require much thought. Millions of lives may depend on this choice.

He quickly got up from his room and pushed his thoughts for later. His sister should have returned home but he didn't hear any noise. He should check on that first and also had to prepare food for the night. With the formation of the core, his hunger increased tenfold compared to that morning.
