Meeting With The King

Dropping off the meat took longer than expected. I had planned on getting the two gods to help but decided that It would be better if they stayed hidden for now. Shigora was a Beast, and most people were terrified of them. Finding out she was mortal might get fanatics, or crazy people after her. 

Once we were finished, the royal guards escorted us through the city, the bustling streets filled with a mix of citizens going about their daily lives and the occasional group of guards maintaining order. Lily and I walked side by side, her arm still looped through mine, as we made our way towards the royal palace.

"So, any idea what your father wants to discuss?" I asked, glancing at Lily.
