A broken jewel's confession

The Grandmaster's heart lurched forward, pounding against the walls of his chest when Chi Cheng uttered those three simple, yet sincere words. His body ran cold with surprise, hastily switching their positions by flipping his dear broken jewel carefully onto his back.

Han Xuelian braced himself on his arms, looming over the younger male while his icy blue eyes flared excitedly wide.

"What did you…" The Grandmaster stared down at Chi Cheng's sated expression, fighting to make his heart calm its racing rhythm. It was almost as if the icy walls and barricades he erected around his heart shattered instantly. "This…tell me this isn't a dream."

Chi Cheng smiled warmly, opening his arms wide to call the Grandmaster into his embrace. Han Xuelian submitted, allowing the younger male to hug him lovingly.
